I am not new to Laneige brand & have used few products (most raved ones). When I came to know about their Mini Pore Waterclay Mask, I was pretty shocked. How I was unaware about it? I think there’s not a lot of buzz about it unlike Laneige’s sleeping masks and lip masks. It’s a clay mask that’s supposed to remove excess sebum and minimize the appearance of pores. In this post I will be talking about it 🙂
About the product: Quick-drying clay gel mask made of mineral mud from the Yellow Sea; absorbs excess sebum and cleans the pores.

How to use it:
1) Refine skin with toner after cleansing the face. Apply a layer over the face except the sensitive skin around the eyes and mouth.
2) Allow the formula to dry completely. When the pores become apparent on the dry surface (about eight minutes later),
3) rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use the enclosed sponge to remove the residue.
※ The product can be used on small affected areas.

Packaging: This mask comes in a mint green tub with a screw on lid that makes it easy to scoop out the clay. It also comes with a sea sponge that is rock solid after it dries but it becomes soft upon absorbing water. The sea sponge helps to remove sebum and the mask effectively. Really happy with the packaging.
My opinion about the product: I have an oily skin with humongous pores. I have tried many things to fix them but failed 🙁 So when I came to know about this, I ordered it instantly. It is recommended to use the mask twice in a week. The mask comes in a clay gel-like texture with smooth application. The mud in the mask is very fine and dries down very fast. You have to apply a thin and even layer so it starts to dry down in a few minutes. Once it has completely dried down (around 10-15 minutes), it reveals tiny dots of sebum, indicating the sebum it had drawn out from pores.
Remember to use the sea sponge (provided with jar) to remove the mask. Soak the sea sponge until it becomes soft, and wipe off the mask. The sea sponge works effectively & it removes the mask completely without leaving a thin layer of grey on your face. Post application my skin feeling soft as this mask not only helps in minimizing the pores, but also removes dead skin cells. I am so happy with the product & feel like that it an under rated one. I mean not heard bloggers & youtubers raving about it. I am super impressed.
