Lakme is like one of the oldest and one of the most popular cosmetic brand. I’m pretty sure you all must have used one or the other Lakme product so far in your beauty journey! So let me today review the Lakme Insta Black Eye Liner. I was not sure which liquid liner to pick, but as Lakme is like a trusted brand, and also this liner is quite budget friendly, I picked it up.

Packaging:The liner comes in a transparent glass bottle with a sturdy screw type lid. The bottle is also spill proof. Being small in size it can be also called travel friendly, but has to be actually kept safe, as the bottle is a glass bottle. The brush has an okish tip, not very impressive, slightly on the thicker side for an eyeliner.
My opinion about the product: Trust me I feel this is the worst product of Lakme that I have ever come across! Like it is so disgusting! Only that the pigmentation is rich black, apart from that it does not have a single good thing in it. I was so disappointed. It takes like almost 5 whole minutes to dry, the brush also doesn’t have a perfect tip. Only good thing is that it has a nice creamy black texture.
It is absolutely not smudge proof. This is the proof:
I have just lightly rubbed it after the application, and this is the fate!
To a certain extent it is water proof, but yes, only to a certain extent, not totally. It absolutely doesn’t fulfill all what it claims like water resistant or dries fast and things like that.
At the end, I am only able to use the liner to apply bindi, and nothing else at all!
What I like about this product….
- Dark black colour.
- The packaging is spill proof.
- Budget friendly.
What I do not like about this product….
- Not at all smudge proof,
- Not water proof,
- Takes so long to dry,
- The tip of the brush isn’t perfect at all.
Basically I would recommend you all not to even try this liner, because it does no justice of being a liner apart from the black dark colour!! Why would you even invest Rs.110 for such a pathetic liner?!
