Lakmé has recently launched a 9 to 5 Instant Glow Crème which claims to provide you an instant glow. Wow.. I definitely wanted to give it a try so bought it and after using it, sharing my review about it.

Product Claims: Lakmé 9 to5 Instant Glow Creme is a fragrant crème with a unique combination of ingredients like mineralized powders and luminizing pearls that ensure an instant glow on the skin. Crafted especially to suit Indian skin tones, it seamlessly blends like a crème without making your skin sticky and sets like a powder, giving skin a matte look..

Packaging: This cream comes in a grey colored tube. This tube is very sleek & attractive. The tube comes in a silver colored carton which has pink color information imprint on it. On the carton you can see various information. This product comes in two variants i.e 20 gm & 40 gm. 20 gm variant is very travel friendly and can be easily carried in the bag or purse.

 

 

My opinion about product: The tube has a same colored (grey) screw cap and a very small nozzle. Due to it’s small size only small quantity of cream comes out. This cream is pinkish in color and has a pleasant fragrance which later on fades away. The cream has a very smooth texture and easily blends in skin. No extra effort is required.

 

If you have oily skin, then you will love this cream because it moisturizes well (only in summers), blends well and will control oil for 5-6 hours. Isn’t it cool? You will observe instant glow and brightness in your skin. But for people will deeper tones, may have a problem with this cream, that is it will leave a white caste which will give you artificial fairness. Similarly people with dry skin will not find this cream enough moisturizing.

So for me this cream is good option for oily-fairer tones. It’s better for dry-deeper tones to stay away from it.


What I like about this product….

1. Good option for oily to fairer skin tone.
2. Does not clog pores or cause breakouts.
3. Very light-weight and non-greasy.
4. Gives a matte look.
5. Comes with SPF.
6. Smooth texture, blends easily.
7. Very attractive packaging.
8. Adds glow and brightness instantly.

What I do not like about this product….1. Doesn’t specify the SPF number.
2. Not suitable for dry skin.
3. Moisturizing property is not effective.
4. Long list of ingredients with Parabeans.
5. Leaves white cast on deeper skin tones
