Hello Everyone!!
So today I’m gonna talk about two products from Khadi Natural, one is the Shikakai and Honey Conditioner and the other is the Amla and Bhringaraj Shampoo. I have been using the Khadi conditioner for quite a long time now and have been liking it a lot. So, thought of trying the shampoo from Khadi. The shampoo has been my recent purchase and I will share my experience regarding both with you all.
Quantity: 210 ml (for both)
Price: Rs. 235 (you can get it at discounted price of Rs.188 for both)
Shelf life: 3 years (for both)
Direction of use: Like any regular shampoo, preferably take this shampoo in a container and mix some water to it. Then wet hair, lather and rinse thoroughly. After hair-wash, apply the conditioner.
Packaging: Both the shampoo and conditioner comes in a transparent plastic bottle with flip open black colour cap. Inside the cap there is another plastic cap which makes the packaging of both the products spill proof.
My opinion about the product: As I already mentioned, I have been liking this conditioner a lot. After changing so many conditioners I kind of now feel this suits my hair best of all the conditioners that I have tried. It is like a white creamy consistency, mild smell. It being a herbal conditioner, is required in a little higher quantity than other non-herbal conditioners. The conditioner leaves the hair soft and also frizz free.
But the shampoo is totally a turnoff!! I had high expectations from the shampoo as I have been liking the conditioner and have also used 2-3 bottles of the conditioner already. But the shampoo was like horrible. The smell is fine; it is transparent but black in colour. But the thing is, first of it, it doesn’t lather, then it leaves my hair extremely rough and dry. The only good thing that I found for the shampoo that it is sls/paraben free.
Thus, I’m satisfied with the conditioner, but totally not with the shampoo.
What I like about these products…
- The conditioner does its job well.
- It is travel and user friendly package (for both).
- Very much within budget (for both).
- SLS/Paraben free (for both).
What I do not like about these products…
- The shampoo makes rough and dry.
- Conditioner is required in higher quantity than various other conditioners.
Thus I would rate it 4.5/5 for the conditioner and 2.5/5 for the shampoo.
