Summer seems to be in full swing already! Even though it’s just April, it feels more like the peak of June. I often wonder how fruit and vegetable vendors manage to spend their entire day outdoors under such scorching heat. Truly, life isn’t the same for everyone.

Speaking about myself, summer brings its own set of challenges — itchy skin, lifeless hair, and blurry vision (due to my uveitis). Managing my hair is still easier compared to dealing with skin irritation and vision problems.

Currently, I’m using Sunsilk Shampoo along with Kesh King Ayurvedic Anti-Hairfall Conditioner, and I must say, both products are doing a good job in keeping my hair manageable. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’d know that for years, I’ve been loyal to the combination of Sunsilk shampoo and Mamaearth hair mask for my hair care routine. However, these days I’m sticking to a more budget-friendly regimen, which led me to switch from the Mamaearth hair masks to Kesh King Ayurvedic Anti-Hairfall Conditioner.

In this post, I’ll be sharing my detailed review of the Kesh King Ayurvedic Anti-Hairfall Conditioner.

About the product: Kesh King Ayurvedic Anti-Hairfall Conditioner is the first Ayurvedic conditioner enriched with Aloe Vera and 21 rare Ayurvedic herbs, specially formulated to reduce hair fall. For best results, use it after washing your hair with Kesh King Ayurvedic Shampoo. This conditioner helps control frizz, promotes a healthy, nourished scalp, and strengthens hair to minimize hair fall.

How to use it:

Here’s a general step-by-step on how to use a regular conditioner (like Kesh King Ayurvedic Anti-Hairfall Conditioner):

1. Wash Your Hair First

   • Use a shampoo suitable for your hair type. Rinse thoroughly before applying conditioner.

2. Squeeze Out Excess Water

   • After shampooing, gently squeeze your hair to remove excess water. Too much water can dilute the conditioner and make it less effective.

3. Apply Conditioner

   • Take a small amount (about the size of a coin for medium-length hair) into your palm.

   • Focus on the mid-lengths and ends of your hair.

   • Avoid the roots/scalp unless the conditioner is specifically designed for the scalp (applying it to roots can sometimes make hair greasy).

4. Distribute Evenly

   • Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to distribute the conditioner evenly.

5. Leave It In

   • Check the product instructions, but generally, you should leave it in for 2–5 minutes.

6. Rinse Thoroughly

   • Use cool or lukewarm water to rinse your hair well until it feels clean and smooth, without any slippery residue.

7. Dry Gently

   • Pat your hair dry with a towel—don’t rub it harshly to avoid breakage.

Packaging: This conditioner is packaged in a green-colored squeeze tube, enhanced with golden accents that make it very eye-catching. It features a golden flip-top cap that closes securely. All the necessary information is clearly printed on the tube. Its compact design makes it safe and convenient to carry in your purse or bag.

My opinion about the product: The product is white in color with a rich, creamy texture. It feels incredibly smooth to the touch and doesn’t feel heavy upon application. However, it has a strong fragrance that lingers on the hair, which might not be ideal if you have a sensitive nose.

Initially, I was hesitant to try a leave-in conditioner due to my oily scalp. But just a coin-sized amount (a little more in my case because of my long hair) was enough to evenly coat my hair after my usual shampoo and conditioner routine. I allowed my hair to air dry naturally, and the result was soft, tangle-free, bouncy locks.

One thing I love is that even if I accidentally apply a little extra, my hair doesn’t feel flat, sticky, or weighed down. This product has completely changed my perception — leave-in conditioners can indeed work for oily hair types!

I’ve been using this leave-in conditioner regularly for over a month now, despite frequent washes during the summer, and there’s still a good amount left in the tube. After every wash, my hair feels incredibly smooth, and the lovely fragrance is an added bonus. Priced at ₹ 200 for 200 ml, it’s definitely a great value for money. I’m absolutely planning to repurchase it!
