This shampoo is like one of those products which I have been using for the longest time ever. Literally! I have been using this shampoo for like the last 5 years and actually have got no complains about it. Not that I’m saying this is the best shampoo ever in the market and things like that, but it surely suits my hair the best out of all the shampoos that I had used before coming across this one. Jovees is an Herbal and Ayurvedic brand which offers wide range of products that are made using natural, organic ingredients and are quite effective in results.
P.S: The shampoo had a different packaging when I just started using it and is now in this form. So it’s like I have seen all phases of this shampoo. Lol!
Ingredients:
Quantity: 250 ml
Price: Rs. 230 (At discount you can get it at Rs. 186)
Shelf life: 3 years
Direction of use: Like any regular shampoo, take this shampoo in a container and mix some water to it. Then wet Hair, lather and rinse thoroughly. Do follow up with a conditioner (which is actually advisable after usage of any shampoo).
Packaging: This shampoo comes in a white sturdy plastic bottle with flip open green colour cap. The smell is mild and also a nice smell. The packaging is leak proof and thus can be considered as a travel friendly product.
My opinion about the product: There was a time when I was finding it very hard to find a shampoo that will actually suit my hair and also be within my budget. And then when I came across this shampoo, it met both my criteria, it’s budget friendly and also suits my hair really well.
The shampoo is transparent in colour with a mild and nice fragrance. It leaves the hair soft and smooth, and most importantly non-frizzy. The usage of this shampoo does not lead to hair fall and dryness as well.
It will be suitable for all hair type but the only thing is that you need little extra shampoo for your hair when compared with other shampoo. Another drawback is that this shampoo does not provide the complete list of its ingredients, and only gives the list of its active ingredients. So I guess this is not sulphate free!
What I like about this product…
- It has nice fragrance.
- It leaves the hair silky and soft and of course a bit shiny too.
- It is travel and user friendly package.
- It lathers well and cleanse the hair well.
- No dryness and frizzyness of hair after wash.
- Safe on all hair type.
- Very much within budget.
What I do not like about this product…
- It does not provide the complete list of ingredients.
- Not available in all local stores.
Thus I would rate it 4/5.
