Hello Everyone!!
Recently I came across some very positive reviews about the Indulekha Bringha Oil. This is an ayurvedic hair oil and the bottle comes with a self-applicator bottle. As I was facing lot of problems with hair like hair fall, split ends, frizziness and what not, I thought of giving this oil a try! To be very honest, the self-applicator bottle of oil was the part which lured me the most to buy this oil. LOL!!
Ingredients:
Quantity: 50 ml
Price: Rs. 234
Shelf life: 2 years
Packaging: This oil comes in a bright golden sturdy plastic bottle, with a comb type self-applicator which has holes at the tips of the comb teeth. It further has a plastic fit in cap inside with an already made hole. The ingredient list is elaborated in the packaging,
My opinion about the product: I really liked the concept of this self-applicator bottle. It makes the application of the oil very easy. I had really high expectations from the oil, as, firstly, I have read so many good reviews about it and secondly, it was so costly!!
The moment I opened the bottle, it was like a strong smell which was a total turnoff for me. Like the smell is so strong that I couldn’t think of applying it in generous quantity only!! Leaving apart the smell factor, the oil is non-sticky and isn’t very heavy kind.
But coming to my experience part of it, I didn’t feel that it has done any bigger help to my hair in any way than my other regular oils. Hair fall control, which was the major objective behind me using the oil didn’t improve, or even if it did, it’s not that noticeable! So for me, this isn’t anything extraordinary. I have used it for like 2 months now, and haven’t felt any difference. And I am definitely not going to buy it again.
I totally don’t feel like it does any justice for the price it charges.
My likes and dislikes regarding the product:
Likes:
- The self-applicator mechanism in the bottle.
- Made of all natural ingredients.
- Non-sticky.
Cons:
- The smell is very strong and pretty much unbearable kind.
- Very expensive.
- Doesn’t do justice to what it claims.
Thus I would rate it 2.5/5.
