Himalaya Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask| Review

Hi Lovelies!!!

When it comes about a Peel-Off mask, EverYuth is a brand which automatically comes in my mind. Reason is that I have seen my Maa using it a lot when I was a kid. I have also used it and later on I switched to Himalaya Orange Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask (Click Here to use). Recently I purchased Himalaya Purifying Neem Peel Off Mask as I was going through bad pimples phase (What can be better than a Neem based product for pimples). In this post I will be reviewing it 🙂

Key ingredients: 

• Neem is a herb known for its antibacterial properties. It improves general skin health and immunity, combating bacterial infections such as acne, boils and ulcers. Neem tackles bacteria from the root and prevents the recurrence of pimples and blemishes.
• Turmeric is a herb that has antiseptic and strong anti-inflammatory properties which soothe skin gently, making skin soft and supple.

Direction for use: Clean your face & neck area and apply this peel off mask avoiding the area around the eyes. Allow the mask to dry for 10 to 15 minutes. Gently remove the peel from the side of the face.

Packaging: This peel-off mask comes in a simple white colored squeeze tube with a green colored flip top cap. Himalaya always keeps it’s packaging simple & you don’t have much to comment on that. But there is even nothing to complain about the same. Each & every information is provided, the packaging is travel-friendly & spillage proof. Only one thing can destroy the packaging and that is your baby  . At sometimes I feel a baby’s teeth (even if they have three or four) they are like a blade, can chew anything.

My opinion about the product: The peel-off is a light colored gel which has a decent consistency. It easily spreads over the face. You can apply it either with the help of finger or with the spatula. Like EverYuth peel off it too have artificial fragrance but its smell is milder than the EverYuth one. Taking out this peel off is a pain if thin layer is applied so I apply a thick layer which makes it easy to take off. This peel-off takes time to dry so if you are a mom then do wait for your baby to go for sleep (My boy hate any kind of pack on my face 😉 )

Once the mask dries you can peel it off from the bottom.  As I said peeling off this mask can be a real pain so be careful otherwise you may end up hurting your skin. Now coming to the effectiveness of this peel-off, as this Peel-Off mask claims to lighten pimple marks but I haven’t noticed any such effect. However post application my skin feels more smooth & cleaned so it can be used for pampering session where objective is to get a squeaky clean face. But don’t expect Pimple marks lightening. So it’s a decent product but I won’t gonna repurchase 🙁

4. Travel-friendly packaging.

What I do not like about this product….

1. No visible effect.
2. Peeling off it is a real pain.
