Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo| Review

Hello Ladies,

I am back with the review of Himalaya Baby Shampoo. I know! I know! I am writing after a long time (nearly after 1 yr). I am not a regular writer but definitely, love to write whenever I have time. With job and two kids, it’s almost impossible to get “Me” time. Finally, I managed to get time to write for this beautiful blog. I used this shampoo for my daughter who is months old but after few days I stopped using it. To know the reason do read my complete review about the same.

Ingredients:

Price: Rs. 155

Quantity: 200 ml

Shelf life: 3 years

Direction for use:

1. Wet baby’s hair.
2. Apply shampoo.
3. Lather & rinse.
4. Repeat if required.

Packaging: This shampoo comes in a boring plastic bottle with a green colored flip top cap. I wonder where other brands are coming up with such cute packaging for the baby range. Why Himalaya seems likes stuck in the same old packaging? In Anjali’s style, I will say “क्यों भाई क्यों” 😉 . I am in love with her writing style. The packaging not only boring but it does not even travel-friendly. Leakages chances are there so better not to carry it a bag or advisable to keep it wrapped.

My opinion about this product: This shampoo has a gel-like consistency & appears light as water. It has a mild fragrance which fades away soon. I always prefer baby products with mild fragrance for my both kids. It does not lather well so I always end up with using an extra amount of the product. This shampoo cleanses off well & drains out oil, dirt etc from the skin. But it doesn’t make my baby hair soft & silky.

No doubt the Himalaya products are budget friendly but for babies, we all want best. Even if we have to pay more. Initially, I thought that I will be getting noticeable result post few usages but I didn’t notice any. So I finally decided to go for some other option. However, I would like to mention each product behave differently for different individuals. So will suggest choosing wisely.
