Sometimes we buy a product just because we see other people buying it. I know this is a bad thing but you know how we human are 😉 I saw a lot of my blogger buddies reviewing Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Face Wash range (Lemon, Blueberry, Strawberry, and Peach). I was so tempted with these colorful face washes that without thinking twice I bought one for myself. I picked “Peach” variant for myself and today I will be sharing my experience about the same.
Ingredients: Unfortunately you will get to know only two key ingredients on the tube.
Peach: Containing skin-conditioning properties, Peach enhances the appearance of the skin and restores skin softness and suppleness. Indian Gooseberry: The astringent properties in Indian Gooseberry help reduce excess skin oiliness. The tannins act as free radical scavengers.
Direction of use: Apply Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Peach Face Wash on a moist face and massage. Gently work up a lather using a circular motion. Wash off and pat dry. Use twice daily.
Packaging: This face wash comes in a half transparent & half opaque squeeze tube. It has green colored flip top cap. Half of this tube is clear so you can see the product & get to know that how much product is left. A decent amount of the product comes out on squeezing the tube and it is a leak-proof tube. I generally find Himalaya packaging pretty boring but this time I am very much impressed (Damn colorful).
My opinion about the product: This face wash has a very sweet (fruity kinda) fragrance. The fragrance is very mild and do not bother your nose, so if you have a sensitive nose then you will surely like it. It is a peach colored face wash which has a gel like consistency. There are two types of granules in the face wash. First one are white colored small granules or beads. Second one are brown colored granules which are bigger is size as compared to white ones. As per brand these are natural granules but I am not sure about the significance of these beads.
I am guessing that they are for exfoliation purpose (may be I am wrong) & unfortunately they don’t help in exfoliation. It cleanses off all dirt and impurities from the skin and leaves it fresh, squeaky-clean. As it’s a oil clear face wash, it removes excess oil from my skin. It lathers well & easy to wash off. As winters are going on after few minutes I skin starts feeling dry so basically this face wash drains out skin moisture. So I have kept this aside & using MamaEath Charcoal face wash as it doesn’t make my skin dry. As per my experience (I have oily skin) this face not gonna suit dry skin people plus those whose skin behaves dry in winters. Definitely gonna use this face wash in summers 🙂
