I recently came across the Glow & Lovely Soft Bright Cream, and it has to be one of the weirdest products I’ve encountered to date. Despite having no specific need for this product, my curiosity got the better of me, leading me to make the purchase. What struck me as odd is the lack of essential information on the packaging. Nowhere does it specify whether it’s a cold cream or a simple moisturizer, and the ingredient list is conspicuously absent. Despite my efforts to find details online, my search proved futile. Faced with this mystery, I decided to take matters into my own hands, using the product and sharing my review to contribute something about it to the information pool. देखा कितनी जिम्मेदार हूँ मैं 😉 In this post I am sharing my review about Glow & Lovely Soft Bright Cream.
Ingredient: Entire list is missing 🙁
Price: ₹10
Quantity: 12 gm
Shelf Life: 24 months
How to use it:
- Dot over face & neck and massage in.
- Use twice on cleansed face for best result.
Packaging: This cold cream comes in a light blue colored plastic jar/tub. It has a white colored screw cap. A silver seal it there to protect the spillage of the cream. However you need to tear it off to use the actual product. Few details are provided at the back of the jar/tub. But ingredient list is completely missing. This small pack is adorable and will easily slips into your purse or clutch. I find such packaging extremely good for travelling purpose. This blue color of the tub is giving me the vibe that it is a cold cream as their cold cream comes in a blue colored tube. I am not 100% sure but while searching online I saw “no chip chip nikaar” hastag for this product on Instagram. So I am assuming as well as confirmed with the shopkeeper that more or less it is a cold cream 🙂
My opinion about the product: I initially had reservations about the product, given its cream with a pinkish, soft texture that seemed a bit unusual with bubble-like formations. To ensure its safety, I cautiously applied it twice on my hands before using it on my face. After confirming the absence of any allergic reaction, I proceeded to apply it on my face. The cream effortlessly absorbs into the skin with a gentle massage, leaving no ashy white cast. Once settled, it provides a matte finish without any shine or greasiness.
The cream’s hydrating performance falls short, lacking satisfaction even as a general moisturizer for my non-dry, oily skin. It fails to live up to expectations with no notable features or claims on the packaging. The absence of specifications raises questions about the product’s purpose, especially given its unimpressive performance. The only information provided is the inclusion of the essence of 30 vitamin E capsules. While vitamin E is known for stimulating circulation, boosting collagen production, and soothing irritation, the cream’s overall effectiveness remains unclear. Despite vitamin E’s potential benefits for the skin, the cream’s lack of hydrating qualities makes it difficult to understand the motivation behind its launch.
Rest I will say there is no point of buying this cream. I am never going to buy this neither will recommend to anyone.
