Forest Essentials Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan| Review

Time to give the skin some luxury treatment that it deserves. I mostly use my salary either to shop clothes. And when I am done with all cloth shopping and I am down with guilt, that’s the time I resort to some skin care and makeup treatment. And I love actually everyone loves investing in luxury skin care products. And when it is Forest Essentials, then it’s everyone’s dream.

So, here I used Forest Essentials Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan for some time and thus I am reviewing for all of you.

Product claim: Forest Essentials Narangi and Nagkesar is a powerful exfoliating treatment that stimulates the underlying tissues of the skin. By its revitalizing, refreshing & refining actions, this ‘Ubtan’ helps in the natural glow of the complexion. It protects the skin from Acne and Blemishes. Its regular usage prevents the occurrence of premature fine lines and firms and tones the skin.

Directions for use: Use makeup remover to remove all traces of makeup from your face. Leave your face bare for some time. Take a clean bowl and add a spoonful of curd and half a spoon of this ubtan. Blend both of them together very well and then apply this paste on your face. Let it dry completely. This might take 15-20 minutes and then rinse your face with water.

Packaging: Coming to the packaging part, Forest Essentials Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan comes in a tub packaging. The tub is of plastic and the screw cap is of golden colour which has a luxurious feel to it. Other product details are mentioned on the tub itself. You need to open the screw in order to access the product.

My opinion about the product: Personally, I am a big fan of face scrubs. And this ubtan is actually a face scrub. It has very fine mild granules which does not hurt when used on the face. There are various ways of using this ubtan. You can mix it with gulab jal, curd or even with aloe vera or plain water.

The ubtan is actually a thick scrub and thus it will take some time to dry on your face. Once it dries off, use water and lightly massage your face and the scrub parties will fall off gradually. On single usage, you will much clearer and soft skin. On prolonged usage you will see that your skin is glowing and the tans and other black marks and even acne sports have reduced with time.

Over 15 days, you will find yourself becoming a fan of this ubtan.  And many of you might be worried over the price point, then me clear that out as well. You need only a pea sized amount of this ubtan. Thus, a single tub will last you actually for 4-5 months even when you use it on daily basis. And since this is a scrub, it is advised not to use it on everyday basis. I use it on every alternate day basis and this ubtan lasted me for a good 5 months. That way it is quite economical right?

What I like about this product:

1. Ayurvedic brand.
2. Moisturizes quite well.
3. Scrub off the dirt and oil.
4. Little amount required per usage.
5. No bothersome smell.

What I didn’t liked about the product:

1. Price.
2. Availability limited.

Yes, but at present I want to experiment with other masks and ubtans.
