During my last visit to a chemist shop, I came across those cute jar of Emami Vasocare Petroleum Jelly. I instantly grabbed one as I was bored of using Vaseline petroleum jelly from a long time. This product was available in sample size which is definitely a good option if you are new to a product or skeptical about the efficiency of the product 🙂

Shelf life: 3 Years from manufacturing date.
Packaging: This petroleum jelly comes in a white colored tub with a green colored cap. The cap loosen up after 3 or 4 application which makes it difficult to carry in the bag. Rest the packaging is pretty decent 🙂
My opinion about the product: This petroleum jelly comes with a greenish tint. It has a very smooth texture and smoothly glides over lips or skin. It doesn’t feels heavy on the lips. Being a petroleum jelly it can be safely use on the lips as well as on the skin. I used it and found it hydrating for my skin but it is not that effective for my elbow or knee skin. After 20 minutes it again started feeling dry. If you are using it then you have to re apply it in every 20 minutes which is practically not possible.
So if you have a dry skin then it will not all a product for you. I am using it for moisturizing my lips and it is doing great. For me it is a good option for lip care. Thankfully I bought this small jar which is sufficient enough for my lips. Otherwise I would have regret of buying it.
What I like about this product….
1. Herbal formulation.
2. Not very sticky compared to regular Vaseline petroleum jelly.
3. Moisturizes my lips well.
4. Really cheap for the quantity offered.
What I don’t like about this product….
1. Tub packaging can be bit unhygienic. 2. Does not moisturize the skin for long. 3. Needs frequent application.
