Packaging: Elle 18 matte lipstick comes in a cute black packaging with a lovely girl’s face printed over the cap. But the packaging is common to all lipsticks by Elle 18, so it is quite difficult to identify and pick one range or shade. The cute tube is easy to carry around, though. It is such a fun and girly packaging. But, the packaging twist mechanism isn’t very sturdy. Other than that, I really like this super affordable lipstick.
My opinion about the product:
1. Rose Day (R31)
Rose Day is a cream based matte lipstick… Because of the creamy texture, it slides on evenly on the lips. Application of the lipstick is easy and smooth.
2. Selfie Red (R34)
Selfie red is the gorgeous warm tone red that will go across beautifully on a lot of Indian Skin Tone beauties.
3. Let’s Tango (P26)
The Shade is just awesome. You can definitely try this on the ethnic wear. It will go with all. I personally loved it.
4. Deep Pink (P23)
A good colour to wear it during the Day as well as Night. My face is uplifted after I apply this shade. It is simply perfect for me.
5. Chocolate Day (B42)
The colour of the season! We lust colors like this, don’t we? Chocolate Day is a deep chocolate brown with slight berry undertones that give the warmth to the color. It goes on bold and dark with every swipe and this is a colour to wear for the fall/winter. Even though the shade looks slightly mature but girls in their 20’s will flaunt it like a Diva!
Pigmentation
The pigmentation is surely surreal for the price you pay. Single swipe gives almost full saturation of color and two swipes are enough to give you an opaque finish. It covers pigmented lips well and you can surely skip the lip liner in a hurry.’
Texture
