Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick Let’s Tango (P28) Review

Few months back Elle 18 launched the ‘Color Pops Matte Lipsticks’ range in India with 20 beautiful shades. To be honest I wanted to buy all of them 😍but unfortunately finding these lipsticks in local market is like finding a pearl from the Ocean 😫. I literally asked every shop and to my surprise only few of them had these lipsticks. I managed to get only two shades one is “Let’s Tango” and second is “Mauve Date”. In this post I am reviewing Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick Let’s Tango (P28). I hope in future I can get few other shades too especially Selfie red.

Shelf life: 24 months or 2 years.

Packaging: There is bit improvement in shape of the lipstick tube. It comes in a sleek black casing with a girl in pink printed over it. The sticker of white color at the bottom displays the shade number and name. This small size cutie easily slips in my purse or clutch. Overall packaging is super cute and sturdy enough.

My opinion about this product: It is the first time that I bought an orange shade as earlier I was bit skeptical about the suitability of this shade for my skin tone. Let’s talk about this “Lets Tango” shade, it is a dark orange shade which will go well for all skin tones 😃. This shade doesn’t contain any shimmer and looks absolutely refreshing. It has a yummilcious fragrance which fades away soon.

The lipstick has creamy texture and glide smoothly on lips. It has a light weight formula that easily sits on the lips. It does not have a lip balm in the center but still moisturizes your lips well. This shade is not very well pigmented like other shades of this range of lipsticks and at least 3 or 4 swipes are required to get the desired result. If I have to comment about it’s staying power then I will say it is not that much impressive. One needs to do touch up frequently, especially post meals.

It claims to be “Matte lipstick” but I would like to call it “Creamy matte lipstick. As I always mentioned earlier about Elle 18 lipstick that it is impossible to find this quality in this price (100 Rs) compared to any other brand.

What I like about this product….

1. Soft and smooth texture.
2. Huge range of shades.
3. Glides smoothly on lips.
4. Economical.
5. Very moisturizing.
6. Super cute and travel friendly packaging.

What I do not like about this product….

1. Low staying power.
2. Very difficult to find in local market. Especially if you are looking for specific shade.

* Finding shades of your choice is really a difficult task. I tried to order few shades from online but again they were unavailable and if they were available, then the shipping charges were approximately equal to the price of the lipstick 💔.
