Hello folks!
Have you read my first post on this blog? If you answered ‘No,’ please show some love Here. In today’s post, I’ll discuss about Dot & Key Cica Calming Blemish Clearing Face Wash Salicylic acid & Green Tea. I have an oily skin that is prone to breakouts and itches in the summer. It goes without saying that these pimples leave behind marks/blemishes, which I despise. I was looking for a face wash that will help my itchy, pimple-prone skin. My hunt came to an end with Dot & Key Cica Calming Blemish Clearing Face Wash. I decided to test its trial version which I ordered from Smytten.

Packaging: The product is packaged in a simple and durable Lime colored squeeze tube with a convenient white screw cap. Fonts printed over the tube is black colored and all the required details are printed over it 🙂 Due to its size the tube easily slips in your bag.
My opinion about the product: The face wash itself has a gel-like consistency with a light green tint. The fragrance is mild and does not linger for long after being infused with a lovely fragrance of tea tree essential oil. The face was has a slightly runny feel and dispenses easily once the lid is opened. It doesn’t lather much, so sometimes you may end up taking more in your palm.
To use this face wash properly, lather it up with a little water, then massage it in for a few seconds. The lather produces a lovely cooling sensation that I adore, making it ideal for hot summer days. I have itchy skin these days and it helps in settling it down. However I will avoid it in winters, its already cool then who needs that extra cooling sensation 😉
Because of my oily skin, I frequently get pimples, which can leave unsightly marks. Fortunately, this face wash is really efficient in reducing pimples, however it is not very effective at reducing blemishes. So, while it’s a fantastic choice for me during the summer when I need to treat my pimples and itchy skin. But I will switch to something else throughout the winter to accommodate my skin’s shifting demands.
This face wash’s extraordinary cleansing qualities have blown me away. My skin feels rejuvenated, clear, and well-nourished after each usage. Despite the fact that the product contains salicylic acid, it falls short of effectively treating my blackheads and whiteheads. Nonetheless, its non-drying nature makes it an excellent choice for people with dry skin, since it successfully maintains the skin’s moisture balance.
Overall it is an average product which is definitely a “Yes” for me when I have those itchy skin days but if I need it to work on my blemishes, black or white heads then I will give a try to something else.
