Hello Cuties!
In today’s post I will be reviewing Colourpop Lippie Stix in shade Trust Me. I spotted this in a makeup declutter video and that time only knew that it was the type of shade that I would die for 😉Â
About the product: Get one swipe pigmentation in a full-coverage, ultra matte finish in a comfortable formula loaded with skin-loving ingredients like shea butter and Vitamin E.
Price: 7 $
Qt: 1 gm
How to apply it:
- Start with freshly exfoliated lips! prime your lips with our lippie primer for smoother application and more comfortable wear!
- Line your lips with a matching lippie pencil; this will help you achieve the perfect finished look and give the appearance of fuller lips.
- Apply your lippie stix and you’re good to go!
Packaging: This product comes in a white colored twist up tube with a slanted lip bullet. Brand name “ColorPop” is engraved with silver fonts which makes the packaging look classy. Smaller surface area of this lippie allows precision while applying compared to regular (tear dropped) lipsticks. This slim lippie stix easily slips in the clutch or bag.Â
My opinion about the product: It is a classic super matte red shade which will suit each and every Indian skin tone. Many say that it is a dupe of MAC Ruby Woo which is absolutely true. But I also know few other dupes too, Oriflame the one 5 in 1 color stylist & Dini Matte Extreme Plumber Volume. Basically these four lipsticks have similar shade.Â
The formula feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips. It does not settle into the fine lines and does not accentuate dry patches. This is among those shades which instantly glams up whole look. You teeth looks more white and pretty post application. Red is a shade which is a must have as it suits all skin tones easily. So you won’t regret buying this shade (In terms of color). Two major issues with this product is, the non availability in India and transfer-ability. I literally transfer everywhere even if you wear a lip liner underneath. The staying power is okaish and stay around 4 to 5 hours as it transfers too much, it tends to fade and then it requires a touch up. So there is nothing much to rave about it. I would recommend you not to take a pain (paying international shipping or custom etc) for ordering this lippie
