Bonjour beautiful people,
How have you been, it’s been a while. You all know, that when one needs to take their makeup game to the next level, a good eye shadow routine helps to a great extent. So today we’ll be talking about one such eye shadow by the brand ColourPop.
Ingredients: Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Talc, Boron Nitride, Zinc Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Carmine (CI 75470), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492 CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Price: $5/600 INR
Quantity: 1.5 gm /0.05 OZ
Shelf life: not mentioned
Shade: Stay Golden
Direction of use: Apply with your favorite eye shadow brushes. Flat and firmer brushes will give more colour payoff, whereas fluffier brushes are good for blending. Use a small angled brush to line the eyes.
Packaging: when I purchased the eye shadow, they only gave a paper plastic packaging. Whereas now, they come in a hard and sturdy hard plastic packaging which closes with a click, and that is so cool.
My opinion about the product: This particular shade is a dusty wine colour, which looks equally good on the crease as it does on the lid. The shadow is extremely pigmented, and the colour payoff is amazing. The shade is actually a dupe of the shade primavera in the Anastasia Beverly hills Modern Renaissance palette. The colour blends seamlessly into the skin, and other colors too if you’re using them.
You can use this particular shade as a blush as well to get that wine-y tone on your face. And you can use a liner brush as well to make defined designs wherever you want. The colour is pretty long lasting, and you may want to use a light hand while applying the product, because it is very pigmented and has a tendency to stain on the skin. The colour is really pretty and would look good in any type of daytime or nighttime look. It is however important to prime the lids before applying to get optimal colour payoff.
What I like about the product…
- Pigmentation
- Blend ability
- Sulphate free
- Cruelty free
What I don’t like about the product….
- Price
- Availability in India
ZZM Rating: 2.5/5
In conclusion, it is a good product, but there are many better eye shadows available in the Indian market for much lesser price.
Until next time, bonjour!
