Bonjour beautiful people,
I’ve said this probably a million times before, and will say it again, a makeup lover can NEVER EVER EVER have enough highlighters. Be it in any form, powder, compact, flower, stick. We want it all. So, I’m back with yet another highlighter review. Today we’ll be talking about the colourpop luster dust loose powder highlighter.
Ingredients: Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Octyldodecanol, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
Price: $7/ 800 INR
Quantity: 3.0 G/ 0.106 OZ
Shelf life: No where mentioned
Shade: Aura voir
Direction of use: Use a fan brush for a sheer glow, or a small buff brush for a more intense, precise application. Little goes a long way.
Packaging: The ColourPop luster dust loose powder highlighter comes inside a tiny cardboard packaging which is orange in colour which only has the shade name and the H.O address written on it. Inside the highlighter is kept in a transparent plastic packaging with a white cap. It also has the shade name written at the bottom. It is pretty sturdy. Inside, there is a dotted separation which controls the amount of highlighter coming to the surface.
My opinions on the product: ColourPop started with liquid lipsticks, now they’re slowly integrating a wide variety of products. Highlighters being one of them. This is a loose powder highlighter, with very very fine shimmer particles. The highlighter is finely milled and a very little product can go a very long way. Because of the fact that they’re loose highlighters, the sparkle factor of these particular highlighters are way more than a normal compact highlighter.
This loose highlighter isn’t just for glowing up your face, but also you can use it all over your body to get that summertime sunkissed glow. When I used it for the first time, I remember the scattering glitter powder everywhere while applying with a brush, so it is very important to be careful while applying. The highlighter is at its pigmented best, and this particular shade, AURA VOIR, is beautiful, for daytime and nighttime alike. The quantity of the product will last a very long time considering how little product is needed.
What I like about the product…
- Pigmented
- Packaging
- Shade range
- Quantity
What I don’t like about the product….
- Price
- Availability in India
- Product dispersion
ZZM rating: 3/5
In conclusion, it is a good highlighter, and you should try it if you want to try Colourpop products.
Until next time, bonjour!
