Summers are approaching (North India) & soon it is going to be super hot here. So, I thought to add a fruit based face wash in my skin care routine. I ended up buying Biotique Bio White Advanced Fairness Face Wash. As per brand this face wash is blended with the juices of pineapple, tomato, lemon and papaya fruit to visibly lighten skin for a fairer, flawless look. With regular use, skin reclaims its soft, smooth, youthful tone and texture.
Shelf life: 36 years from the date of manufacturing.
Direction of use: Gently massage over wet face & neck with fingertips, lather & rinse, morning and evening.
Packaging: This face wash comes in a see-through plastic squeeze tube with a flip top cap. All of the product details like ingredients, directions, expiry, price etc. are mentioned on the tube itself. More or less all Biotique face washes have same kinda packaging. No excitement at all 😉
My opinion about the product: It is a clear gel with bit pinkish tint. It has a decent consistency but the fragrance of this face wash is a big turn off. I was expecting some fruity fragrance but this smells like Rin bar to me. It lathers well & washes off all dirt & grim from my face. On the tube it is mentioned that it dissolves makeup, it can take out light makeup but fails in case of heavy makeup.
Good thing is that it doesn’t sting my eyes, I generally remain careful but sometimes things are not in your hands (he he). Post application it has a bit drying effect on the skin so need to moisturize your face. But in summers you will not feel this dryness so I think it can be safely used.
Overall it is an average face wash which has nothing “WOW to mention. If you are wearing a heavy makeup then don’t use this face wash for taking it off. As it will be not able to take it off completely.
