Few days back I received Aura Vedic Skin Lightening Oil from the brand for review purpose. To be honest ,I find idea of applying oil on my face pretty horrible. Initially I was skeptical about using it but finally decided to give it a try. This oil is enriched with the goodness of Turmeric oil, Saffron &Winter Cherry Extract. Here is my complete review about it.

Directions for use: Gently massage every morning and night on clean skin using upward circular movements.
Packaging: This oil comes in a rectangular shaped slim plastic bottle which has a golden screw cap. On first glance you will feel that bottle is of made up of glass but it is high grade plastic, which makes it very light weight. As soon as the lid is unscrewed, you will find a white colored plastic stopper that prevents oil from leakage. You need to pierce this stopper to dispense the product; I did it with the help of safety pin. I’ll recommend you to not to carry this bottle it while travelling to avoid spillage and leakage otherwise wrap it in some plastic covering.
My opinion about this product: The oil is pale yellow in color and has a very lightweight texture. The oil is neither too thick nor too runny and non sticky when applied on face. It has citrusy fragrance which not at all overpowering. This oil contains few strands of saffron settled at the base of the oil which is known for brightening effect on the skin. As per company’s instruction you need to apply it twice in a day & I am doing the same.
I usually apply it 25- 30 minutes before going for bath in the morning & in night before going to the bed. I apply few drops of it on my face and neck and massage gently all over the face and neck. It spreads easily over my skin and gets absorbed almost instantly. It feels extremely light on my skin without giving me any greasy or heavy feeling. It keeps my skin moisturized & hydrated and I need not to apply moisturizer. So my skin feels soft, smooth & moisturized post application.
I have acne prone skin which constantly suffers from acne or pimples spots but regular use of this oil successfully helps in reduction or lightening of these spots & blemishes. This makes my skin feels more healthy and radiant. It doesn’t break me out or cause any allergic reaction on my sensitive skin. If you are suffering from pigmentation, spots, uneven skin tones or discoloration then do invest in this product for visible result.
What I like about this product….
1. Helps in lightening the skin and removing dark spots on regular use.
2. Contains goodness of ingredients like Saffron, turmeric, chamomile, orange, lime oil.
3. Nourishes and hydrates the skin well.
4. Non sticky & light weight in nature.
5. Has a nice citrusy fragrance.
6. Gets absorbed easily.
7. Suitable for all skin type.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Very difficult to find in local market.
2. Packaging is not travel friendly.

I am very skeptical on using this on my sensitive acne prone skin. For how many days have you used this and noticed change on your skin? Plz lemme know.
I am using it from last 2 months & noticed visible change on my skin after 15 days.. I also have oily (sensitive acne prone skin) skin & didn't faced any problem but as we know same product can behave differently person to person..

I have just got this one but contemplating whether to use it on my face or not because oils tend to clog my pores..I will try by using it on my neck and hands and then perhaps gather enough courage to use it on face 😀 Good thing is that only positive reviews have come to fore so I am hoping for good results 🙂

As you have super sensitive skin so it's better to consult a dermatologist before trying any new product or never forget to do a patch test or allergic test..
