I previously used the Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser and absolutely loved it. However, with its price in India being around ₹1,000, I’m always on the lookout for more budget-friendly alternatives. During my search, I discovered the Aqualogica Detan+ Mousse Hydrating Foam Cleanser, which is priced at ₹349. This cleanser is enriched with cherry tomato and glycolic acid. Cherry tomato is known for reducing skin damage caused by UV exposure, making it an excellent skin rejuvenator. It heals and purifies the skin, promoting an even tone. Glycolic acid, on the other hand, is a powerful exfoliant that removes excess oil, unclogs and tightens pores, and reveals glowing skin. It also effectively reduces dark spots and diminishes the signs of aging. Yes! I was having high hopes from this cleanser.

Massage onto wet skin in a circular motion.
Concentrate on the forehead, nose, and chin.

Packaging: This face wash comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a pump dispenser, covered by a protective plastic lid/cap. The bottle is red and opaque, making it difficult to see the product inside. It features a yellow cap, which matches the color of the pump. The pump dispenses a sufficient amount of foam with each use. While the red and yellow color combination appears attractive in online images, in reality, it gives the bottle a cheap appearance. On the shelf, the bottle looks like a low-quality product. However, aside from this issue, I have no other complaints about the packaging.
My opinion about it: This foaming cleanser is so much fun to use! Unlike other foaming cleansers that quickly turn into a watery mess, this one sets into firm, bouncy peaks that hold their shape. My 6 year old love playing with a bubble ‘stache, and this cleanser stays perfectly put until I (he) rinse it off. 😄 I keep telling him that this cleanser isn’t for him, but it’s so hard to stop him. Any parent would understand how much kids love bubbles!
I recommend applying this cleanser to damp skin and gently massaging it in circular motions, which is what I’ve been doing. After using this cleanser, I noticed that my skin didn’t feel dry or tight. The formula is almost scentless, though I could detect a very faint hint of essential oils and extracts.
This face wash is incredibly mild and moisturizing, leaving my skin hydrated rather than dry after use. I’ve incorporated this cleanser into my morning routine for a few weeks now, and it blends seamlessly with the rest of my skincare regimen. My skin feels refreshed, clean, and soft, with a noticeable radiance and healthy glow. I also appreciate its gentle nature.
