Few days back I visited a chemist shop to buy few things for my baby. In that shop I saw a few Patanjali products displayed in the shelf. I wonder how Patanjali products are available everywhere 😵 like Patanjali stores, grocery store, chemist shop etc. Patanjali Rose face wash instantly grabbed my attention; reason was its red and white packaging. For the first time I liked the packaging of Patanjali product so I purchased it without wasting any time 😍.
Packaging: This face wash comes in a white colored squeeze tube with a flip top cap. Rose flowers with leaves are printed over the tube which makes the packaging bit interesting for me. All the required details is provided on the tube except the complete ingredient list and my reaction on this is “ये क्या बात हुई” 😡. Overall packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.
My opinion about this product: This face wash comes in a clear gel form with a tinge of pink. On smelling this product my initial reaction was OMG! It has heavenly fragrance but soon I realized that it an artificial one. It leathers well and cleanses off efficiently. The fragrance of this face wash stays for 20-25 minutes after that it fades off. It removes all dirt and impurities on skin and makes it look fresh & healthier. It doesn’t drain out your skin moisture & post application you need not to apply a moisturizer.
If you have oily skin and you are expecting it to control your pimples then it will definitely disappoint you. It is a rose based product so I was expecting glowy effect from it but unfortunately there is nothing like that. I have not seen any difference in my skin’s texture. This face wash doesn’t live up to its big claims. It is a nice option keeping in mind the price especially if you are a college or school goers after as we are getting a products only in 45 bucks.
What I like about this product….
1. Cleanses well.
2. Very affordable.
3. Doesn’t dry out skin.
4. Nice & Travel friendly packaging.
5. Easily available.
6. Mild on skin.
What I do not like about this product…..
1. Has an artificial fragrance.
2. Not suitable for oily skin people.
I've been fooled by it's Multani Mitti and Activated Carbon Foam Wash. Did not work on my skin and yes Soumya is right they have parabens and artificial fragrances. Loved the honest review. The packaging of this always intrigued the shopaholic in me. But their first purchase for Skincare made me go away from them 😂😂 I'm happy with their Aloe Hair Cleanser though.
