In North India Winters are leaving & Summers are approaching . I love everything about winters, the long cold nights, cozy blankets, peanuts, ginger wali chai (Tea) and the laziness it brings along too.. But there’s this one thing I hate, chapped and dry lips. So a good lip balm puts me out of my misery and I continue to love the winters. Today I am going to review Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm.. Let me honest, I also use lip balm in Summers too, whenever needed.
Enriched with the oils of Castor, Coconut, Wheat Germ and Carrot and the extracts of Sweet Indrajao, Lip Balm protects your lips against the drying effects of the cold, wind and central heating.
Ingredients: Ricinus communis (Castor, Eranda), Cocos nucifera (Coconut, Narikela), Triticum sativum (Common Wheat, Godhuma), Wrightia tinctoria (Sweet Indrajao, Hyamaraka), Daucus carota (Carrot, Garijara).
Price: 28 Rs

Fragrance: Somewhat fruity fragrance.
Shelf life: 36 months or 3 years.

Packaging: This little white tube with green screw cap comes packed in a cardboard packing ( Which I ripped off in excitement before taking pis, oops!) So you surely know its new and hygenic. This tube contains 10 g of product which sounds very less, but have faith it will last a long time even if you use it daily.
My opinion about this Product: I love the product. In my books its a winner, When I first squeezed out the product, my first impression was, its just Vaseline! But definitely its more than that. A teenie bit of it makes the lips smooth for 2 to 3 hours, which for me is good enough. Also its not greasy or gives that tingling sensation like some of the lip balm gives. Since its colorless, it’s definitely good for before-lipstick-application. Acomplete winner.
What I like about this product….
1. Hydrates lips for 2 to 3 hours.
2. Non-greasy formula.
3. The packaging is unique.
4. Very handy to carry on.
5. Doesn’t give that tingling sensation.
Didn’t find any negatives.
