Aqualogica Glow+ Smoothie Face Wash with Papaya & Vitamin C| Review

I recently wrote a detailed post about the YOTO Box, and one of the four products it included is the Aqualogica Glow+ Smoothie Face Wash with Papaya & Vitamin C. This happens to be the first product, I decided to try out, and I’m thrilled about it. Packed with the goodness of Papaya and Vitamin C, it’s an ideal choice for the chilly winter season. The product is a sample size, which is perfect for testing out during these cold months. How to use it:
Step 1: Apply a small amount of Face Wash onto wet face.
Step 2: Gently massage in circular motion.
Step 3: Rinse off and pat dry.
Step 4: Use twice a day for best results.

Packaging: The face wash is packaged in a vibrant yellow squeeze tube with a yellow bottom and an orangish screw cap. The packaging provides a concise summary and showcases key ingredients such as Papaya and Vitamin C. The white-colored fonts on the tube can be challenging to read, especially the smaller ones at the back. However, the front fonts are more visible. On the positive side, the packaging is travel-friendly and secure 🙂

My opinion about the product: The face wash comes in a yellowish hue and boasts a gel-like texture. It produces a rich lather, and only a small amount is needed to cleanse the entire face. I possess a sample-sized tube, offering usability for 8-10 applications. Yes! I have a big and round face. The application doesn’t elicit any sensations, which is particularly favorable. Given my sensitive skin, this aspect adds to its appeal for me.

It appears that the face wash effectively cleanses the skin, but the promised instant brightening effect is not noticeable. Despite the lack of immediate brightness, the product leaves the skin feeling smooth and clean after application. It’s worth noting that if you have oily skin, the face wash may still cause dryness around the cheeks and lip area, particularly in the winter. Therefore, individuals with dry skin may find it less suitable, especially during the colder months.

This product is rather average and doesn’t bring anything extraordinary to your skincare routine. While it could be suitable for daily use when you’re not expecting remarkable results, I find the price to be a bit high. There are more affordable face wash options available that could serve the same purpose.
