Hello Everyone!
In this post, I want to share my experience with the product my thoughtful daughter ordered for me – the Mamaearth Rice Water Hair Mask With Rice Water and Keratin. At first, I was hesitant to give it a try, primarily because I’ve never used a hair mask before, and I am cautious about using products with chemicals, especially at my age of 55. However, my daughter’s frustration got me thinking, and I realized that the product had only three months left before its expiry date.
My daughter had picked this hair mask with love and care for me, and I didn’t want to disappoint her by not using it. So I decided to overcome my reservations and give it a shot. To be honest, when it comes to hair care, I’ve always been a bit traditional, relying on natural cures and uncomplicated routines. A hair mask felt out of place, but I figured it was time to try something new for the sake of my daughter’s thoughtfulness.

Price: ₹ 599
Quantity: 200 gm
How to use it:
- Part your hair in two halves. Take a palm-full of hair mask and apply adequate quantity to wet hair and scalp.
- Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes before washing it off with Mamaearth Rice Water Shampoo & Conditioner. For best results, use 2-3 times a week.
Packaging: This mask comes in a huge white tub with a handy screw-on cap and an inner lid to prevent leaks. While the tub itself is sturdy, due to its weight, it may not be the most portable alternative. The tub includes all of the necessary information, such as a detailed description, a list of ingredients, usage instructions, and manufacturing details. Overall, the packaging has a great charm and neatness to it. However, due to the tub style, you may find it unsanitary to use.
My opinion about the product: The hair mask is beige in colour and has a slightly thick consistency. Nonetheless, it applies readily on damp hair. Best thing is that as per brand this mask is free from harm full chemicals which gave me a great relief 🙂 The aroma is odd, but not overpowering, and it fades within an hour of rinsing. This hair mask can be used as a leave-in conditioner or a rinse-off conditioner, though I prefer the latter. I make sure my hair is free of extra water before applying the mask, and then I apply it from the scalp to the ends of my hair. Then I keep it around 10-15 minutes then rinse it off with normal water. Taking off this mask is not difficult.
My hair used to have gorgeous curls in my childhood, but as time went, it morphed into a more wavy structure. I must admit that I didn’t give my hair the attention it deserved, and it became dull and frizzy. Fortunately, the modern period has provided a wealth of solutions for those with lovely curly hair. That’s when I came across a game-changer. My hair was quickly transformed after the first use of this wonderful lotion. The strands that were once dull and frizzy turned remarkably silky and moisturised. I’ve been using it twice a week for about two months, and there’s still plenty in the tub.
Some may consider the product’s price to be a little exorbitant, but the fact that a single tub lasts more than two months more than justifies the expenditure. If you’ve been looking for a way to revitalise and restore your damaged hair, I highly recommend trying this product. It did wonders for me, and I hope it will do the same for you!
