Plum’s de-odorizing pit cream is a unique product that helps to keep you feeling fresh and new through a unique application format. The pit cream is quite literally, a cream that you can apply on your skin to smell it’s amazing and refreshing fragrance. Although it is not very long lasting, it is definitely something to be noticed and tested for its unique application.
How to use it: Make sure that the area of the skin over which you want to apply the product, is clean and dry. Use the spatula available with the pit cream to extract the product in the desired quantity. Either use the spatula to apply the product directly on the skin, or else, use a finger to remove the product from the spatula and then, apply it on your skin. You will need to rub the product on the skin for even application. Use the product over major pulse points, such as the wrists, insides of the elbow, nape of neck, underarms and more.
Packaging: The product comes packed in a plastic jar with a plastic cap on top that can be screwed open to reveal the product. Overall, the product is packaged in a cute and illustrative cardboard box and it comes with a plastic spatula which can be used to extract the product in the desired quantity.
My opinion about the product: Plum has definitely done a good job by crafting a unique product such as this one. The Lemme Lemon fragrance has strong citrusy and lemony notes of fragrance, which feel very rejoicing and refreshing in the season of heat. You can expect the fragrance to last with you for a goof 1-1.5 hours and no more. Beyond this, you will need to reapply the product. However, reapplication may prove to be a hassle since the residue of the product stays intact on the skin and applying any more of it above that may only begin to cause a certain stickiness. Thus, reapplication may not always be feasible, especially after a high-impact activity. The residue of the product may cause pilling to some extent which can cling to clothes or the skin, further making it irritable.
The product is suitable for people who cannot tolerate the impact of perfumes or deodorants or are allergic to the ingredients in them. But, many may find it unhygienic to use the product, in spite of the spatula available with the product. The constant application and reapplication has ample scope for product contamination.
The huge quantity of 50 gm is yet another pitfall of this product. In a smaller packaging size, the product would have finished early, reducing the scope of contamination. But the tub takes its own sweet time to finish, since you need a very minute quantity of the product at a time.
