Bonjour beautiful people,
Or maybe I think today I should greet you with a 안녕하세요, which basically pronounces to annyeong-hasseyo, which means “Hello, how are you?” in Korean. Yes, I’m taking classes. Also, yes, I’m obsessed. To be honest, I’m going crazy over how can I be so much in love and dedicated towards everything about a particular country. Starting with K-pop to K-drama, to K-beauty, I’m sold. So much so, that I’m even learning the language.
So, you’ve already guessed it, I’ll be talking about a product from a Korean brand, and that is INNISFREE. And the product that we’ll be talking about is the Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam. So please keep reading.
Ingredients:
Price: INR 590
Quantity: 150ml
Shelf life: 12 Months
Direction of use: wet face, take a little product, create lather and gently massage with blackheads exists, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
Packaging: The Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam, comes in a fat tube packaging, with all the details of the product printed on the back of the tube. The products is retailed in India, so all the details which are originally printed in Korean is covered with a plastic sticker, in which all the details are printed in English. All the details like the, direction of use, price, quantity, DOM, shelf life are printed. The cap closes with a click, and you need to squeeze the tube to get the product.
My opinions on the product: starting January, I was at my worst, skin wise, my skin was going through all sorts of bad things, Christmas and new year had just gone by. And all the junk food and bad lifestyle made it worse. So my skin needed some real TLC. I was already smitten about the Korean beauty standards by then, and kept dreaming about Korean glass skin. So then I hijacked my bank account and went literally crazy with purchasing skincare. The third step in the 10 step Korean skincare, is exfoliating your skin. So for that, I chose the Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam. I have used many scrubs in the past. Thinking the harsher it is, the better, as it’ll strip my skin off all the gunk and junk. And boy, how wrong I was. Your scrub should always be mild on your skin so that it shouldn’t irritate your skin, and give you pimples.
The best thing about this product is that, the scrub particles are absolutely mild, and just it foams really well, so its really easy to create lather, and you should always use well lubricating products when you have to massage your face with something. When it comes to skin-care, you cannot determine its quality, just the first time you use it. So after using it for about 2-3 weeks now, I can finally talk about how it worked for me. The texture is the smoothest, so it doesn’t irritate my skin. After using it for a week, three times, I could see that my black heads were slowly disappearing. And now after a month, my pores are slowly vanishing away too. Only thing that it makes the face very dry, so immediately after washing it off, make sure to tone and moisturize.

ZZM rating: 5/5
