Hello Reader!
In this post, I am going to review WOW Skin Science Activated Charcoal Face Wash. I have already reviewed this face wash but it was tube variant. To read the review please click Here. This review is about the Silcon brush variant which is not owned by me 😉 We were travelling to Haridwar and I saw it in my brother’s bag. Took his permission to use (I used it for 8-10 times) it and here I am with the review. I basically wanted to know that their is any difference between the tube and silicon brush variant.

How to use it: Splash some water on the face and neck. Pump out a little amount of the face wash and apply all over your face and neck. Use the built-in brush in a circular motion on your face and neck to remove dirt. Move from the base of your neck to the jawline and then upwards to the cheeks, nose, and forehead. Massage for 2 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly with plain water. Follow with a moisturizer.
My opinion about the product: It comes in a bottle with built-in silicone face brush for gentle exfoliation. Love the way foam oozes out on pressing. In India we have only few face washes with this kinda packaging. The tube variant of charcoal face wash is transparent and has beads of charcoal and tea tree oil. The fact is that my eyes can only see black colored beads which should be of activated charcoal. So I am not sure that tea tree oil beads are present individually or are part of these black beads. However you won’t see any such beads in silicon brush variant. The fragrance of this face wash is decent and do not bother your sensitive nose. A single press oozes out foam sufficient to clean your whole face. Keep in mind that I have a big round face still it is extra for me he he  So one has to be extra careful while dispensing out this product.
Love the way the brush feels on my sensitive skin. Good thing is that this face wash is parabens, sulphate, silicones and color free. Brand claims that it is suitable for all skin types including oil skin. I also have oily skin and I was using it twice in a day i.e in morning and in night before going to the bed No doubt this face wash cleanses well but from the first use I was feeling dryness in my skin. I had this same experience with the tube variant too which is obvious as the basic product is same. It is also not suiting to my sensitive skin. I am not that surprised with the results as have already used this product and more n less experienced same. I would suggest not use it before patch test. The cleansing capacity is good apart from there is nothing WOW about this WOW face wash. The packaging is the best thing about it.
What I like about this product….
1. Super cute & classy packaging.
2. Dermatologically tested.
3. Cleanses well.
4. Affordable price.
5. Parabens, silicon & sulphate free.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Difficult to find in local market.
3. Not effective on skin oil or pimples.
4. No visible effective.
