Few months back I received few products by brand for review purpose & VLCC Clear Tan Fruit Face Pack was one of them. I don’t know but I never felt like using this particular product, may me I felt like this product has nothing unique. See how judge-mental I am (Remember that dialogue from movie English Vinglish “जजमेंटल मतलब वह जज जो मेन्टल है”.). Now please don’t kill me for this बकवास जोक 😜. Now finally I have used this product and sharing my review about the same.

Directions for use: Apply on clean skin, massage gently with wet finger tips for 5 minutes, avoiding eye area. Let dry for 15 minutes dampen and rinse off thoroughly. For better results use twice a week.
Packaging: This face pack comes in a white & yellow squeeze tube with a orange colored flip top cap. Most of the VLCC products (face wash, sunscreen, face pack) looks quite similar & it is bit difficult to distinguish them from distance. As usual packaging is leakage proof & can be carried while travelling. On repeated use the opening tends to get messy so you have to clean it regularly.
My opinion about the product: This face pack has a creamy consistency so easily spreads over the face. It has a pungent smell which I hate from bottom of my heart. As it is a squeeze tube so application of the product is simple as well as hygienic. I apply it on my face & neck then allow it to dry. It generally takes 20-30 minutes to dry completely. Meanwhile my baby keeps poking my face with his index finger. Usually kid gets scared on seeing his/her mom with face pack but mine finds it funny.
Now let’s comes to the effectiveness of this pack; it is an average face pack with mild effect against Sun tan. It means it can be used if you have mild tan but in case of severe tan you have to go for some other option. I even I did not noticed any skin lightening properties. To be honest I never expect much from any product when it comes for skin lightening. Good thing is this face pack doesn’t make skin dry so if you have dry skin then you too can go for it.
So I will say it is an average face mask which is suitable for those who do not get exposed to Sun light much.
What I like about this product..
1. Has a creamy texture.
2. Doesn’t dry out skin.
3. Suitable for all skin types.
4. Easily available.
5. Budget friendly product.
6. Has goodness of cucumber, mulberry and pineapple extracts.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Not effective on severe tan.
2. No skin lightening properties as claimed.
3. Has a pungent smell.

I have been using VLCC for quite some time and simple love the day and night cream for the amazing results I have got. However, not all products from the same umbrella brand cant be good. I loved the fact that you have given such an honest review as it helps in taking informed buying decisions.
