VLCC Bright Serum Face Wash with Vitamin- C Serum & Meyer Lemon| Review

Do you also feel the need for more than one face wash during summers like I do? Sometimes it feels like there’s dullness on the face, sometimes it seems like the pores are clogged due to dirt, and other times it’s the hassle of dealing with pimples. To deal with this issue, I recently bought 3-4 face washes. One of them is the VLCC Bright Serum Face Wash with Vitamin C Serum & Meyer Lemon. It claims to give your skin a bright glow. And honestly, who doesn’t want radiant, glowing skin? I’ve been using it for almost a month now, and I think it’s the right time to share a review.

How to use it: 

• Squeeze a small amount of VLCC’s Serum Face Wash onto your palm.
• Gently massage the face wash onto your wet face.
• Using circular motions for a minute and rinse thoroughly.
• Use twice daily.

Packaging: This face wash is packaged in a transparent plastic squeeze tube with an orange flip-top cap that closes securely with a “TIC” sound. All essential product information—such as ingredients, usage directions, expiry date, and price—is clearly printed on the tube. The packaging is simple yet sturdy, making it travel-friendly and safe to carry in your bag without concerns about leakage or spills.

My opinion about the product: With its gel texture and vibrant yellow color, this face wash stands out. The face wash also contains ultra-fine particles that aid in gentle exfoliation. This face wash has a medium consistency, meaning it’s neither too thick nor too runny. I’ve noticed that most VLCC face washes don’t produce a lot of lather, and similarly, this one also doesn’t foam much. However, it still cleanses the skin effectively. I know some people don’t feel satisfied washing their face unless the product creates a rich lather. If you’re one of those people, then this product might not be for you.

Since it’s summer right now, my skin doesn’t feel dry after washing my face. Yes, during winter, you’ll definitely need a moisturizer. I’ve been using this face wash for about a month now. A very small amount is enough to cleanse your face. After washing, your skin looks really clean. So, this cleanser is actually quite good.

Now let’s come to the main point, which is the brightening claim made by the face wash. To be honest, I didn’t notice any such effect. Yes, your skin does look clean because it removes dirt and oil effectively. But there’s nothing like a brightening effect. This face wash also claims to reduce pigmentation, which I personally didn’t notice in my case. Overall, I would say that this is a good face wash, but just as a regular one. You shouldn’t expect any kind of special effect from it.
