Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh Body Lotion Review

I am going to review oldy goldy Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh Body Lotion. I have already reviewed new version of this lotion (Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Lotion) earlier but thought to share this because it was in my service from last many years. he he he.. There is no difference between both the product expect name & bit changes in cover, I wonder what forced company to change the name of earlier one.

Product Claims:

1. 24hr nourishing lotion
2. Pure aloe+ 3 stays multi-layer moisture formula
3. Leaves skin feeling light and fresh
4. Infusing moisture at top, core and deep down layers of skin

Ingredients:

Price: 175 Rs

Wt: 300 ml

Shelf life: 24 months or 2 years.

Online availability: It is available in various stores like Flipkart, Amazon, Newu, Nykaa.

Packaging: The lotion comes in a green color plastic bottle, with green color symbolizing it’s primary ingredients i.e Aloe vera and Cucumber. It also has a green color flip cap, which sounds tik- tik on snapping. The flip cap has a tendency to open easily so you need to be careful while carrying in your bag. The packaging hasn’t changed a lot from Vaseline total Moisture Aloe Fresh Lotion apart from covering label.

My opinion about product: The lotion is white in color, it has a very light consistency. The lotion has a very nice fragrance which fades away after some time. This is an ideal lotion for summers as it is easily absorbed my skin and is a good option when feel like itching. I apply it thoroughly on my hand and feet after taking bath and get absorbed my skin without any greasy effect. My skin has a tendency to itch when I stay in sunlight for long leaving skin rashes which can be relieved by this lotion.

The brand claims that lotion works till 24 hours but I feel like to reapply after 7-8 hours. Lots of people have view that it shouldn’t be used in winters but they should understand that this lotion is only for summers (Iske advertisement mein gaana nai suna “ Aa gayi garmi don’t worry, pyaas tuacha ki mitt gayi puriii” ha ha ha.. I think my excitement harmon is high at this time). My skin is not dry so this lotion is a good option for me but this lotion doesn’t have SPF so you need to apply Sunscreen lotion on exposed parts before going out.

What I like about this product….

1. Provides instant hydration to skin.
2. Easily available in local and online markets.
3. Light on skin.
4. Economical.
5. Has pleasant mild fragrance.
6. Does not leave greasy effect.

What I do not like about this product….

1. No UV protection or SPF.
2. Packaging is not trave friendly.
