Am I the only one who browses websites like Amazon and Flipkart for fun? I know it sometimes leads to impulsive purchases, but while some people eat when they’re bored, I like to shop to pass the time. While scrolling through Amazon, I came across The Derma Co. Hyaluronic Sunscreen Compact Powder. This 2-in-1 product looks quite similar to the Lakme compact powder. It’s hard to resist buying when you get two products in one. I’ve been using it for the past two months and am finally ready to share my review of The Derma Co. Hyaluronic Sunscreen Compact Powder SPF 50 PA+++.

How to use it:
- Use the puff to pick up the product from the compact.
- Apply it evenly across your face and neck.
- Reapply every 2 hours or as needed.
Packaging: The compact comes in a bright orange cardboard box, matching the vibrant color of the compact itself. This eye-catching and cute packaging stands out. The back of the cardboard box and the compact both display all the claims, usage directions, manufacturing and expiry dates. Inside the compact, you’ll find a mirror and a puff for easy application. The sleek packaging makes it convenient and travel-friendly.
My opinion about it: This product comes in a universal shade, which made me initially skeptical about its suitability for all skin tones. However, with my wheatish skin tone, it works quite well. I use the included puff to apply the powder, which does a decent job of pressing the product into my skin. The powder is very soft and finely milled, instantly mattifying my face. While it doesn’t provide coverage, it does add a noticeable brightness to my complexion. This was a bit disappointing for me as brand claims that high coverage, blurring pores and concealing imperfections with ease. The mild floral scent is pleasant and not overpowering.
I appreciate that this product does not contain any shimmer particles in it. With my oily T-zone, it effectively controls oil for 2-3 hours. It also contains SPF 50 PA+++, eliminating the need to invest in both a compact powder and sunscreen. If you prefer a minimalist approach like me, this 2-in-1 product is ideal. I have been using it for two months now, and it hasn’t caused any breakouts or clogged my pores, which is fantastic. Overall it is good product if you don’t have pigmentation and blemishes. If you have then I will suggest to skip this product, if you are not into makeup.
Personally, I don’t wear makeup daily, so I just use a compact and lipstick, and voilà, I’m ready to go.
