Honestly, this is the first ever product that I got from the Body Shop. Body sorbets are the moisturisers which can be used in summer, especially for very dry skin. Body Shop has a variety of these body sorbets, and I recently picked the Satsuma variant. It is a perfect pick for the summers.
Quantity: 200 ml
Price: Rs. 795 (I got it for Rs. 636 offline in Body Shop store)
Shelf life: 36 months
Packaging: This face pack comes in a plastic orangish tube, with a yellowish orange flip open cap. Packaging is simple, like any regular face wash kinda packaging. It is travel friendly.
My opinion about the product: The body sorbets were launched by Body Shop in summers, which is the apt season to launch this product. It is an industry first, i.e. no other brand has a product like ‘Body Sorbet’. This particular variant smells like fresh orange!
My skin being very dry, in summers also I have to apply some kind of lotions and this one has been the saviour this time! It is light peach in colour and thick gel like in texture but very light and water based. It is completely lightweight, non-greasy, like the perfect one for summers.
The moisturising effect stays for like around 4-5 hours and that’s pretty decent for summers. I have been loving the smell of it and also the texture of it, and though the product is a bit pricy, I will definitely be repurchasing it!
My likes and dislikes regarding the product:
Likes:
- Mild fragrance,
- Provides hydration without any greasiness or stickiness,
- Cruelty free,
- Perfect for summers.
Cons:
- Availability is a bit of problem,
- Price is on higher side.
Thus I would rate it 3.8/5.
