We all love a good old pamper session, relaxing in the bath with lovely scented bath products and some beautiful serene candles but so many people like myself have become so used to relying on Lush Cosmetics bath products that we begin to forget that other bath products are out there to try! I am not sure if this is the case with a lot of people but for me I went from trying a variety of bath products to becoming dependent on Lush. Don’t get me wrong, Lush bath products are absolutely wonderful but as they say, love is blind. I became so in love with the glorious bubble bars and bath bombs from Lush Cosmetics I become oblivious to many other bath products out there for me to try but some of the Christmas presents I received last year were some products from The Body Shop! In the scent frosted plum I received some bath fizzers and body butter!
Firstly is the Frosted Plum Scented Body Butter. This product is so moisturizing and hydrating on the skin. It has a lovely consistency and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft! I cannot get enough of the scent! It smells amazing, I could literally just sit there sniffing the tub! Out of all the body butters I have ever tried this has to be my favourite. It is definitely not something I would have seen and decided to purchase because I would probably rather spend the money on something else but it was lovely to receive as a gift and now I have tried it I would definitely repurchase it. I certainly recommend this body butter, it is amazing for the skin and a little goes a long way! Unfortunately I think the body shop no longer sell this product but I am sure if you are a user of deepop you might be able to find it on there and definitely on Amazon!
The Frosted Plum Bath Fizzers are also a case of a little goes a long way! Again like the body butter I could just sniff the tub of these all day long, they smell heavenly! From previous experience with bath bombs/fizzers I assumed I would need to add 2-3 of these to my bath in order to get my bath super coloured, scented and to get the most out of the bath fizzers however I was definitely wrong, I only needed 1 and not just the bath but the whole bathroom was beautifully scented! My bath turned a gorgeous purple colour and after sitting in the bath my skin felt super soft!
I definitely have a preference for the bath fizzers out of both these products. I definitely hope to repurchase both however the bath fizzers made me realize I need to try more bath products other than stuff from Lush! I hope to start trying more bath products from The Body Shop now and maybe adventure into other brands too! Let me know in the comments if you recommend any other bath products!
