In this post, I will be reviewing SUGAR POP Nourishing Lip Balm in shade Cherry. Before starting this review let me give you a warning that the pictures shared in this post can be unacceptable, scary, creepy, heart breaking etc. for each and every makeup lover. I tried my best to keep this lip balm safe from my boy but I failed.

I don’t know how he reached to it and the k****d this beauty. My mistake is that I didn’t clicked the pictures in the beginning. I thought will do it after drafting the review and I got the punishment for the same.. He he.. This lip balm is available in 7 different shades and the one I picked is in shade ‘Cherry-02’.

How to use it

Packaging: This lip balm comes in a compact, rectangular outer box/packaging with a glossy finish. The design features a vibrant colorful pattern, reflecting the fruity nature of the lip balm. The brand and product name are prominently displayed on the front, along with a brief description of its benefits. The back side of the box contain additional information, such as ingredient highlights, usage instructions, and important warnings.

The lip balm itself is housed in a sleek, cylindrical pink container that is easy to hold and carry. The container is made of high-quality, plastic. The twist-up mechanism at the bottom makes it convenient to dispense the product. The color of the outer packaging and the tube is same for each and every variant/shade. At the bottom you will find a sticker mentioning shade name and number.

My opinion about the product: It is a bright red shade and looks very beautiful on swatching. The twist up mechanism of the tube is good and you can apply the lip balm without any fuss. The lip balm is highly pigmented and initially seems like you have applied a lipstick. But on settling down it gives you natural looking pink lips (as you can see in the pic). I am not sure it is the effect of summers or is it the nature of this lip balm but handling this lip balm it is a bit difficult task. It melting guys! It is all over the packaging (inside the cap, out the tube). I hate this 🙁

The hydration powder of this lip balm is damn good, keeps your lips hydrated and nourished 🙂 Now the thing is that if this melting part of this lip balm can be fixed then this lip balm is amazing option in summers as well as in winters. Especially for those who wants tinted lips without applying the lipstick.

I will definitely re-purchase this lip balm but in winters. As for now I am keeping aside as you can see the damage done by my boy. You can definitely give it a try.
