Hello Gorgeous Ladies
In this post, I am reviewing Sugar POP Longwear kajal-01 black kajal. This brand is absolutely new for me and this kajal is the very first product of this brand which I am using these days. I was confused that it is a new brand or it is a new venture of brand ‘Sugar cosmetics’. After some chit chat with the shopkeeper, I came to know that this brand is linked with Sugar Cosmetics.
To be honest I am not 100% sure but shopper was. According to him these products are economical range of products launched by ‘Sugar cosmetics’ under the brand ‘Sugar Pop’. I was so impressed with the packaging that instantly purchased 3-4 products of this brand & this Kajal is one of them. There are two more shades available in this range of kajal i.e blue & brown. However these two are bit expensive (Rs. 199) as compared to shade black (Rs.179). तो चलिए रिव्यु स्टार्ट करते हैं 😉
Description: Let your eyes do all the talking with the SUGAR POP Longwear Kajal. Boasting of a highly pigmented, velvety finish, this intense formula stays put for up to 16 hours, so you’re ready to take on the world anytime, anywhere. Its ultra-creamy sweat-proof texture ensures slick lines in just one stroke and is enough to create any eye makeup look you desire.
Benefits:
– Richly pigmented formula
– Velvety finish
– Long-lasting wear up to 16 hours
– Sweat-proof
Ingredients:
Price: Rs. 179
Quantity: 0.30 gm
Shelf life: 3 Years
How to use it:
- Step 1 : Twist the stick twice and apply the Kajal by gliding it over your lower lash line and water line.
- Step 2 : Repeat the process for the upper eyelid for better elevation.
- Step 3 : Build up the color for a bold and intense look.
Packaging: This kajal comes in an easy fuss free packaging. The pencil is packed in a simple plastic plus cardboard cover packaging which has all the product details mentioned. The pencil is in the form of a retractable packaging and it is easy to use. The pencil is aqua blue in color and the cardboard packaging is really colorful & vibrant. It instantly grab your attention 🙂 The product is extremely small and thus it easily fits inside your handbag or bag’s pocket and thus perfect to be applied during loo visits.
My opinion about the product: Coming first to the pigmentation of the kajal, I would say it is damn pigmented. Yes! it is deepest black in colour. It is quite deep black in colour and the single swipe will give you the desired colour. As far as the texture of the pencil is concerned, it is quite smooth and glides on very smoothly. In fact, the tip is quite resilient unlike our ordinary Maybelline kajal in the same format, since it does not break off easily. Luckily, it does not even irritate the eye upon application.
However, this one is not smudge proof or water proof as claimed on the packaging. It might go easy for 4-5 hours but after that it smudges pretty easily. You can expect it to stay on your eyes for 6-7 hours but definitely with some smudging. So, in my case this claim of brand that it stays for 16 hours is not at all fulfilled. Also it can be washed off really easily with water. However you won’t get panda like eyes by using this kajal, which is just a good enough reason why you should try it.
The pencil starts with a fine point but after one or two use it is a thick blunt so definitely not an option if you want a fine line. Over all I find this kajal quiet decent (keeping price in mind) but if you ask me the best kajal available in the market then I will say its Mamaearth Charcoal Black Long Stay kajal. You can read complete review Here. It is retailed at Rs.299 which is definitely more than Sugar Pop kajal.
What I like about this product….
- Cheaper option as compared to another drugstore kajals.
- Natural ingredients.
- Washes off easily.
- Creamy texture.
- Nice pigment.
What I do not like about this product….
- Isn’t smudge proof.
- Isn’t water proof
