Those were the days when Youtube was a new thing (In India) and I was a school going teenager. I was a fan of Shane Dowsan & Lilly Singh those days. Now we have different scenario & Youtube is damn popular with many Indian creators and millions of viewers. Being a Shane Dowsan fan, I had to buy Shane X Jefree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks. Believe me for the first time I have invested this huge amount on lipsticks.

How to apply it: Apply to bare lips with the doe-foot wand or your favorite lip brush. Wait for lipstick to dry completely before touching your lips. We recommend exfoliating lips before use. Avoid food with oil while wearing.
Packaging: The packaging is bright and eye-catching, the doe-foot applicator pools just the right amount of product on it and applies well to the lips. The formula is vegan and cruelty-free which definitely appreciable.
My opinion about the product:
- Jefree, What The F*ck: Is a bright neon magenta with a matte finish.
- Oh My God: is a baby pink with a matte finish.
- I Gotta Go: It is a bronze metal with copper and multi-reflecting sparkle finish.
- Are you filming: It is a bright crimson with a matte finish.
- Ryland: It is a frosty peachy-pink with a metallic finish.
- Shane: It is a deep bronzed brown with a metallic finish.
This range has combination of 3 metallic & 3 matte shades, to be honest most these shades are definitely not for Indian skin tones. The metallic shades simply looks unflattering, and the matte pink color are damn outdated. Most of them will wash off, like Oh My God, Ryland, I Gotta Go may look good in swatches but will make you look pale (as if you are damn sick). Oh My God & Ryland are pretty sheer — it took me at least four coats to get a semi-opaque look.
Are you filming & Jefree, What The F*ck are the shades which I can recommend you as color payoff is good as well as will suit to Indian skin tone. Rest are the Instagram or Youtube kinda shades (To create different looks). None of them not able to survive heavy meals, need a touch up in the center of the lips post lunch or dinner. Formula is good and doesn’t feel heavy on skin. But there is nothing exciting about this range after paying a heavy amount i.s 85 $
I am completely heart broken and will suggest to buy these shades (Individually), Don’t go for whole lot. Rest is your choice 😉
