In this review, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the RAS 24k Gold Radiance Beauty Boosting Face Elixir, a product I received as a perk for being a team member of Zig Zac Mania. As part of our team benefits, we often receive products to try and review. The sample size of this product has been part of my skincare routine for the past 15-16 days, using it once daily. The inclusion of 24k carat gold in the serum particularly caught my attention, and as an Indian woman, the allure of gold is undeniable.

How to use it:
- Take 2-4 drops of the Gold Elixir on your fingertips—never let the dropper touch your skin directly to prevent contamination.
- Warm them up slightly between your hands and press and dab it into your skin.
- Massage the elixir into your cleansed face and neck with light, soothing movements, always upwards and outwards.
- For best results, use the elixir in the morning after moistening your skin with our Glow Potion Essence Toner for better absorption and a glistening glow.
Packaging: This serum is housed in a compact glass bottle equipped with a convenient dropper. It’s worth noting that the packaging for the full-size version might differ. The transparent glass container allows for a clear view of the serum inside. Due to the petite dimensions, this sample size bottle lacks detailed information such as price, ingredients, shelf life etc. Nonetheless, its adorable design makes it user-friendly and perfect for travel.
My opinion about the product: The serum is transparent, and while I expected the inclusion of tiny gold particles, they were initially not visible. However, after a thorough shake, these particles become apparent. I would recommend shaking the serum well before use. It exhibits a slightly thicker consistency than water and has a subtle sliminess that allows it to adhere to the skin, making it an excellent makeup primer. Despite its watery texture, the serum provides an incredibly hydrating sensation. Its moisturizing properties are so effective that there’s no need for an additional moisturizer. When applied, the serum feels like a perfect match for the skin—nourishing instantly, settling seamlessly, and leaving no greasy residue. Instead, it imparts a radiant glow, leaving the skin feeling exquisite.
Typically, I use 5-7 drops of this serum on my freshly cleansed face. I gently apply and tap it into my skin to enhance absorption. The serum is quickly absorbed, leaving my skin thoroughly hydrated, soft, and supple—qualities commonly anticipated from serums. However, the primary purpose of using this serum was to address my dark spots, pigmentation, and blemishes. Despite consistent use for approximately 15 days, I haven’t observed any discernible improvement in these areas.
As the bottle nears its end (pictures were taken at the beginning), and considering its relatively high price, I hesitate to invest more money in this product. If your expectations for a serum are not particularly high, it might be an option. However, there are numerous effective serums available at more affordable prices that you may want to consider instead. Overall it is a decent product but the price is stopping me to re-purchase it.
