Hello Friends!!!It was very hot yesterday (Sunday) and after whole day of roaming, shopping I felt like sitting in one place to relax, take a deep breath to settle down. So we thought of watching Phantom as I heard that it was a movie to watch for sure. Soon after a superb venture with Salman Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, director Kabir Khan took another step in making Phantom with Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif. As told earlier in movie that it is based on Novel “Mumbai Avengers” by author Hussain Zaidi.
The plot revolves around 26/11 Mumbai attacks retaliation steps against terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. Daniel Khan (Saif Ali Khan), a court martialed Army officer accepts a covert operation by RAW to go and kill everyone involved in 26/11. He starts his killing with training officer in London and then David Coleman in USA, which eventually lasts in killing Hafeez Saeed. His helping counterpart was Nawaaz Mistri (Katrina Kaif) , a security consultant in USA.
The movie has some flaws like Youtube working in Pakistan, Saif Ali Khan leaving his fingerprints everywhere, using no gloves, etc. The flaws made it a bit more boring and even storyline at points was predictable.
The one thing which made me to watch this movie and respect it was the patriotism for my country. I love my country and I respect it a lot. I know things shown in movie are bit unpractical but still in our heart we all want them to be true. How Daniel Khan kills all the culprits of 26/11 for that go &watch movie 😉
