Bonjour beautiful people,
You already must know how crazy I’m about eyeshadows. Any new product, that fits my budget, I’ve to have it. So, however getting palettes is a lot better option, but when you need a particular shade and not the whole colour range, then single shadows are the shizz. Makeup geek was the brand who cam up with single shadows. But the derailment along with Indian customs was always a pain. But then came in PAC cosmetics, giving us wide range of selection of makeup and skincare products. Single eye-shadows being one of them. So today we’re talking about the PAC single eye-shadow in the shade no. 87.
Ingredients: not mentioned
Price: 300 INR
Quantity: 2g/ 0.07Oz
Shelf life: 24 Months
Shade No: 87
Direction of use: A shimmer eye-shadow generally is used on the lid with a shade brush, to get an intense shimmery look, wet the brush with any fixing spray/water before taking the product, and then pack on the product on the eyes. However, you can use a fluffy brush to blend the colour onto the crease.
Packaging: The eye-shadow is packed inside the black packaging on which only the shelf life and few other details are mentioned. Inside the actual colour pot is placed inside a transparent covered packaging which can be sealed.
My opinion on the product: I am never really much interested in cool toned eye-shadows, I don’t know why. So any shades which have to deal with blues, greens, mauves or greys, I tend to keep my safe distance from them. But when the time came, I wanted to do a Christmas inspired eye-shadow, I looked through all my 37 eye-shadow palettes(yes 37), and couldn’t find one green shade. Sad right?! So I had to get myself a green eye-shadow anyhow.
While ordering the shadow on Nykaa, I don’t know how, but in my head, I felt that this was a matte eyeshadow, but then when it arrived, it turned out to be a shimmer shadow. Not that I’m complaining. But the Christmas look never really happened. So I did another look, where I literally used green all over my face. Ive always been skeptic of using shimmery shades as a base, but I took my chances with the PAC one anyway, and thank god I did.
The shadow is one of the most pigmented I’ve ever used, I used it practically on the half of my face, and it blended beautifully. The eye-shadow when swatched, is almost like butter to touch, and the colour payoff is crazy just after one swipe. When used on the eyes, it is breathtakingly beautiful, when packed on the lid with a shade brush. But what shocked me the most was how it even blended so well on the crease, and when I used it on the face. There’s very slight colour fallout, so I’d suggest doing the eyes before the face.
What I liked about the product…
- Pigmented
- Price

- Blend-ability
- Availability
What I don’t like about the product…
- Fall out
- Packaging
ZZM Rating: 4/5
Concluding, PAC is the only brand available in India where we can get cheap single eyeshadows, so I think this would be a pretty good investment.
Until next time, bonjour!
