Nykaa came out with a splendid nail paint collection a while ago, by the name of Unicorn Nail potion and as soon as I saw them, I knew I had to try them out! In this post, I am going to review 3 out of 5 shades from the range, frosted fairy (239), sugar n spice (235), pink peony (238).
Claims: Nykaa unicorn nail potion is meant to be the magic that your nails always wanted to flaunt. You get a stunning holographic finish with these shades, which give your nails a rainbow like sheen. It is composed of pearl pigments, which offer a long lasting effect to your nails. As something that has been introduced in India for the first time, this nail paint is free of harmful chemicals and not tested on animals. Each shade has a unique appearance, which will remind you of the magical world of fairies and the natural elements around you.

Packaging: Coming on to its packaging, here is something so alluring that you are going to find it hard to resist the temptation to buy one for yourself. The bottle of the nail paint is the usual glass container, with mention of the brand and other details on each side. You can clearly view the shade from the outer side. The applicator tip is long and shaped like a unicorn horn, much in connection with the theme of the nail paint. The applicator brush is not too thick or thin, just about perfect to get a perfect swipe of the nail paint.
My opinion about the product: These nail paints are love! Not only are they unique in every sense, their results are splendid and new, reason enough why I wanted to try it out. I am happy with the packaging of the product (especially the applicator end), and the price of the nail paint, which is just about average, for the quantity being offered. As for the nail paint itself, minimum two coats are a must, since their pigment is quite light. You might even have to put on a third one, if you aren’t happy with two but that is completely an individual choice. In terms of its durability, you won’t be disappointed.
Like all other Nykaa nail paints, this range also stays up to the mark and gives you minimum 6 days of chip free and crack free nail lustre. The results may go even beyond that but any longer than that depends on individual basis. You will have to be slightly patient with the drying part, since it takes a bit more than an average paint to dry properly. Once that is done, you are ready to show off the holographic effect on your nails, which is in fact very pretty and girlish. Hence, I would say that this range is more suitable for young girls.
