In this review we are going to see about one product which was their initial launch in terms of lipsticks that is from their Nykaa so Matte range “Taupe Thrill “shade.

Packaging: It comes in their regular Nykaa Packaging in a bright pink carton which has all its vital ingredients and inside we have this black beauty with a proper magnetic closing technique which is an attractive feature in this product. And this makes it travel-friendly as the cap shuts down with no doubt. The only down side that I felt with this is that it is too big in size for a lipstick which makes it difficult for me to keep it in wallet or pant pockets. Shade number is imprinted on the bottom of the lipstick which makes it bit easier to find the shade if you own so many of the lipsticks from this range as they all are look a likes.
More about the product: I expected the lipsticks to be super matte as the range name itself says that but to my surprise it was something like moisturizing matte in my own dictionary as the formula does not even stand close to anything like matte. Nevertheless, it has its own brownie points for which you can give this a try. Since it is not super matte you will not find any difficulty while applying the product. No tugging or pulling, it just glides off giving you required coverage in one swipe.
And to talk about the shade, it is one of the loveliest shades that you can ever find. Personally whichever has brown undertones or brown shades are the ones which suits my skin tone and this exactly falls in that category. Perfect MLBB shade of mine and proper daily wear shade for college and office. If you are looking for a nice nude shade I think you gotta give this a try for sure.
If you look at the picture you can imagine how much I have used and abused this product as this is the one lipstick which has less amount of product left. It does not stay for long which is one big time con of this but I really don’t mind reapplying it as I love this lipstick so much. It stays for 4 hours which is decent enough I would say. Also I wish this was non-transferable as every time I leave my lip stains in all the coffee cups whenever I use Taupe thrill.
Overall Verdict: Why not give a chance to this beauty as you also have a mini version now which retails only for 199… Go and Grab it girls.
