I am again reviewing a Paintstix from Nykaa & this time it is Nude Spice shade. I have already reviewed Cool girl nude, Bombshell berry, Rebellious red & Peaches N Cream shades on my blog. Last time when I reviewed Peaches n Cream; my fellow blogger & friend Ghazala Naseem said that my obsession for lipsticks is increasing day by day 😜 & she wanted me to show my collection of lipsticks. So soon I will be sharing picture of my lipstick collection with you guys 😍. I have also decided not buy lipsticks from now onward. Oops! I forgot I ordered three lipsticks yesterday only 😝.
Packaging: This PaintStix comes in a pink colored rectangular shape cardboard box on which all the required details are printed. The actual product comes in a thin bullet packaging which has a color coded cap. A label is also displayed at the bottom which specifies shade code. The packaging of this Paintstix resembles to the Mac Liptensity lipsticks. A full score to this Paintstix for its packaging.
My opinion about the product: It is a very brown toned nude shade but a bit lighter than Cool Girl Nude. If you have missed my review of Cool Girl Nude shade then you can read Here. This shade is perfect for daily wear & suits every skin tone. It is awesomely pigmented and maximum one or two swipes will be needed to get the opaque coverage. I am pretty impressed with the formula; it is amazingly soft & creamy. It is creamy matte lipstick so the formula is a mix of creamy and hydrating one that gives a satiny or velvety matte finish.
It has decent staying power; with meals and drinks, it survives for 4 to 5 hours on my lips. After that it starts fading and leaves behind a beautiful tint.. The formula doesn’t bleed or smudge it holds on to lips without flaking or drying. It is a super gorgeous shade for daily routine. The only problem I felt is the flat top applicator. It is very difficult to control lipstick from coming outside the lips while applying.
What I like about this product….
1. Nice sleek packaging.
2. Highly pigmented.
3. Decent staying power.
4. Affordable price.
5. Hydrating formula.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Flat top.
2. Difficult to find in local stores.
