Lipstick minis are the flavor of this season, with all brands, both high-end and drugstore ones, coming out with miniature versions of their most loved lip shades. I am definitely happy at this because this way I get to try out a wider variety of shades and also without the guilt of not being able to use up my lipsticks before they cross the expiry date. Packaging: This lipstick comes in a tiny black plastic bullet with click-shut closing. The bullet resides in Nykaa’s signature style pink outer pack. The full version has a magnetic clasp which sometimes opens on its own. In this respect, the small version is more sturdy and travel-safe.
My opinion about the product: Bare minimum 47 M is a beautiful pink that will suit almost all Indian skin tones. It will be a nice deep pink for those with light skin tones and slightly brighter than a nude pink for those with a medium complexion. The pigmentation of this shade is completely opaque and perfect for those with pigmented lips. A pink-nude lipstick is a must-have in everyone’s makeup collection because this universal shade works for every age, occasion, and attire.
The shade Bare Minimum from Nykaa comes with similar earthy tones. This one has comparably deeper brown tones so it fits really well. It gives the same kind of subtle and elegant look that we expect from a muted pink lipstick. It looks pinker on lighter skin and the tint comes out as brown-pink on darker skin. But the drawback is it cannot last for forever as it is pigmented we expect to stay a little longer but it stays on an around 4-5 hours. And it is easily slide down from the lips when you are supposed to eat or drink that is the part io hate the most.
