In this post I am going to review Nivea Smooth Sensation Daily Lotion For Dry Skin Review (To read my review about Nivea Soft Light Moisturiser click Here). This lotion is not available in Indian local markets so you have to order it online, I bought it from Ebay. Let’s see how effective it is?
Product claims: Specifically formulated for dry skin, Smooth Sensation Lotion delivers intensive moisturization in a unique light, fast absorbing formula. Enriched with Ginkgo, Shea Butter and Vitamin E, it provides triple action moisturization for the most touchable skin you’ve ever imagined.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Capric/Caprylic Stearic Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, PEG-40 Stearate, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, EDTA (Ethylenediamine-Tetra-Acetic Acid), Methylparaben, Propylparaben.Price: 330 Rs

Packaging: This lotion comes in a light blue colored bottle which has all the required information printed on it. It also has a dark blue colored pump which dispenses sufficient amount of lotion, this pump can be locked when not in use. The packaging is sturdy & of good quality.
My opinion about product: In monsoon & winter’s I usually need a lotion with extra moisturizing property. So this time I planned to buy Nivea Smooth Sensation Daily Lotion For Dry Skin. This lotion is white in color and has a strong floral fragrance (Don’t want to be harsh but this fragrance is very irritating).The lotion is very light weight and has a medium consistency. It is neither too runny nor too thick. If we talk about texture, it is not greasy at all and easily gets absorbed into the skin without much effort. The lotion is very light weight and doesn’t make my skin oily and greasy.
The use of this lotion makes my skin smooth, soft and hydrated (Let me make it clear I have an oily skin). The major problem of this lotion is, it is specially meant for dry skin but I don’t find it that much effective for dry skin. No doubt it is a very good option for oily-combination skin.
What I like about this product….

4. Difficult to find in local market.
5. Not that much effective on dry skin.
