When it comes to achieving a flawless makeup look, a good primer is a must-have. Few weeks back I purchased Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Primer from a mall near my place. This primer claims to create a smooth canvas for makeup application, minimize the appearance of pores, and provide a matte finish. The lady at the cosmetic counter was really nice and I also got decent amount of discount on this 🙂 In this comprehensive review, we will delve into the packaging, formula, application, and performance of the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Primer.

Packaging: This primer comes in a sleek and convenient packaging. It is housed in a squeezable tube with a screw-on cap. It is a black and turquoise metallic tube which comes in a cardboard box with the all the details on it. The tube is made of sturdy plastic, making it travel-friendly and easy to dispense the product without any mess.
My opinion about the product: The primer features a lightweight formula that feels silky and smooth upon application. It is oil-free and non-comedogenic, making it suitable for various skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin. The texture is creamy but not overly thick, which allows for easy blending and absorption into the skin. Generally primers are transparent but this one is white in color 🙂
I was a little concerned that this Fit Me Matte + Poreless Mattifying Face Primer, which I have dry to combination skin, would be like other mattifying products on my skin and would dry my skin out, but to my surprise, it didn’t dry my skin out and it wasn’t too dry itself. The mixture strikes the ideal balance between being neither overly thick nor underly thin. The substance is white, and when applied, it feels and looks like a moisturiser, which I loved because it didn’t make my skin feel dry.
It was smooth and pleasant to the touch on my skin; it reminded me of applying moisturiser. I had no trouble blending it out, and it went on quite smoothly, however I was a little worried about how this Primer would affect my huge pores. Most people simply reduce them, which leaves them still visible, or they simply clog pores excessively. My nose has enormous pores on both sides, my left cheek has larger pores than my right cheek, and my chin and mouth all have pores. I was a little worried about whether or not it would be difficult for me to cover my big number of pores.
So it lives up to its boasts of being poreless, matte, and long-lasting. It does not cause me to break out, bother or dry out my skin, and it is not a “flat matte”; rather, it is matte but healthy matte. Not a flat, lifeless matte, it is completely poreless and not too matte. . Fit Me Matte + Poreless Mattifying Face Primer is something I’ll buy and would highly recommend to anyone. I have already advised my friends, and I advise everyone with whatever skin type. Prior to using Fit Me Matte + Poreless Mattifying Face Primer, do moisturise your skin.
