Few months back my sister-in-law visited India. She lives in USA and brings a lot of cosmetics & Skin care products for me. This time too she bought many products & Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Classic Ivory is among those. I would have never purchased it myself as its not the usual kind of foundation that we usually buy & use. So when I got opportunity to review a product on ZZM blog & I decided to review the same.

Direction of use: Apply foundation onto skin and blend with fingertips or the Dream Blender for the ultimate finish.

Packaging:  This mousse/foundation comes in a frosted jar with peach colored screw cap. The jar is small but heavy in size so you would not like to carry it in your bag while travelling. Secondly jar is of glass so you have to keep it away from the kid(s) otherwise you will say “It hurts in heart” 😉 

My opinion about the product: Initially I was bit surprised to see this mousse & its texture or appearance is bit different from regular foundation. It looks a bit rough but actually it’s not. Applying it can be a bit tricky as if you apply it with makeup brush then some particles tends to fall which can be messy. On the other hand applying it with the help of finger(s) makes it difficult to blend. So need to take it in very small amount with the help of your finger and lightly building up the coverage you need.

It applies like a dream, very soft and velvety and gives you a dewy finish. It stays 7-8 hours but after 5 to 6 hours my t-zone starts to get oily. But this can be fixed with the help of pressed powder.  It can blur out your skin imperfections like dark spots and pimple marks but don’t expect full coverage for the same. It is available in various shades so you can choose as per your skin tone. It’s a light weight foundation so taking it off is also an easy thing. Facing you face with a good face is enough. Overall this mouse in a complete winner in my book (review book by Vandana)

What I like about this product: 

• Blurs out skin imperfection.
• Gives a nice & smooth coverage.
• Stays longer.
• Pretty affordable.

What I do not like about this product…. 

• Initially you will find it difficult to blend.
• Damn difficult to apply with brush as some particles fall off.
