I love to have a red lipstick in my vanity. And thus, I kept hunting for more and more red lipsticks. But I am not the one who likes to splurge on too expensive lipsticks. That’s why I keep looking on something which is affordable and still delivers full points in terms of quality. My Experience with Maybelline Colorsensational Lip Gradation Red 1: Maybelline Colorsensational Lip Gradation Red 1 comes in a slim and fuss free packaging. It comes in a retractable pencil form which needs to be twisted so that the product comes out. when you twist the pen, a very convenient tip of the lipstick comes out which is perfect to be applied on lips. It is neither too thin nor too thick and thus it is good for beginners like me.

Coming to the colour, Red 1, it is a beautiful red. This is both a day as well as a night time shade. This is a deep red crimson shade which is a gorgeous colour. I find the colour extremely flattering on my medium skin tone. This is a great colour for Indian skin tone and it whitens my teeth and adds bright look and perks up my complexion.

The colour is on drying side but it is quite comfortable on the lips. You need to layer a lip balm underneath if you have dry lips like me. Wear a nude lip balm and then wear this red lipstick. This is perfect for long term wear as well. The lipstick stays on for good amount of time but with oily food and drinks it will definitely go away.
