After trying out WOW Skin Science Brightening Vitamin C Foaming Face Wash (Read detailed Review Here), I was going crazy for face wash with silicon brush. I wish to buy every damn brand from the market. LoL! Product in my WOW bottle is there but the moment I received face wash from Mama Earth, I was like use karna padega 😉 Mamaearth has recently launched range of face wash with silicon brush. I have received two out of them, the first one is Apple Cider Vinegar & the second one is Ubtan foaming face wash. In this post, I will talking about Ubtan Foaming Face wash. The product is a PR sample but as usual it is not going to influence my honest opinion.

Key Ingredients:
Saffron: A natural powerhouse of vitamins and antioxidants, Saffron reduces pigmentation and dark spots to promote natural radiance and even skin tone.
Turmeric: The antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and pH balancing properties of Turmeric protects skin naturally. It revives the skin by bringing out its natural glow while delaying premature aging.
Neem Oil: Neem oil shields the skin’s protective barrier from free radical impact and bacterial growth.
Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera heals and repairs skin by soothing inflammation and sealing in moisture.
Direction of use:
1: Wet your face and neck with water.
2: Pump out the foaming face wash and massage gently all over face and neck with the help of built-in soft brush to remove impurities.
3: Rinse and pat dry.
Packaging: MamaEarth Ubtan foaming face wash comes in a plastic bottle with the pump packaging. The bottle has a built-in silicone brush. This silicone brush secured by a transparent plastic cover. I love the way foam oozes out on pressing & also makes it very unique than other face wash. The packaging in kinda similar to the WOW face wash but here the bottle is completely white. All the required details are provided on the bottle as well as on the cardboard box. One more thing in comparison to WOW, the MamaEarth silicone brush is a bit rough or of low quality 🙁
My opinion about the product: I personally prefer using this face wash at night before sleeping. I will first make use of my oil cleanser, rinse that off with water and apply my this foaming cleanser. The usage is very simple, one has to press & the foam oozes out from the silicon brush. You have to use brush in circular motion to cover up your entire face with foam. It’s like tiny fingers on cleansing motion. It’s a good addition to your skincare routine as it cleans your skin while giving you anti-aging benefits when you massage the face using this silicon brush. The fragrance is a bit loud & will bother sensitive nose, it does stay there.
The face wash is very mild and moisturizing and doesn’t dry out the face after using. If you have pimples/acne, then just go gentle with it. Massaging with strong force can be painful, I have pimples & saying with my experience. It has Turmeric & Neem oil which will heal those bumps because it has anti-bacterial properties. Yes! I do feel a mild tingling sensation during usage but it is damn mild, won’t bother much. The applicator is amazing at removing dead skin cells and feels like a good massage too.
I am very much impressed with the product. The only downside I will mention the quality of silicon brush, It is bit harsh or you can say of low quality. Really wish that brand works on it, rest is really appreciable. Let’s come to the main or prime claim of tan removal, the weather is still not harsh or hot in north so can’t really comment on them. To be honest I don’t face tan much as don’t move out much (Love staying in door & hate vacations in summers),
What I liked about the product:
- Refreshing fragrance.
- It’s the unique built-in brush packaging
- The very small amount gives a lot of lather– enough for face and neck.
- Removes all dirt and oil from the face.
- Skin appears clean after washing- gives a deep clean ‘feeling
- Oil-free, non-comedogenic, dermatologically tested
- Cleansed my pores well.
- Does not dry out the skin
What I don’t like about the product:
- The price is a bit high compared with the amount.
- Silicone brush is not that good quality.
- Not suitable for extremely dry skin.
